SquidFrame allows you to change your standard WoW Player Frame... Type /squidframe or /sf for option menu. You can use an optional alt click command to drag the frame wherever you like; and it has a 3D portrait just for fun.

Note:
I first started with [Class Player Frame] which didn't have the option to change the player frame in-game and I don't know how to do that . But then I remember about [SquidMod] (I always love this addon since SAM first started it) now maintained by Ganders, instead of gryphon I want to change player frame so it's pretty much the same useless addon .
I uses most of the codes from SquidMod by Ganders for SquidFrame to work, so the credits goes to him. I just want to share this addon.

Note:
currently updated by Triadian v2.0 onwards

Question Bug?

Gave this a go, I noticed it doesn't save your skin setting and reverts to the default squid each time. Not sure if you have plans to further implement this kind of style to the rest of the frames but its pretty nice regardless

I havent had time to test this yet as i'm currently at work, but can anyone confirm that this updates correctly (changes UF skin) upon entering/exiting a vehicle?

Well.. I've no problem with Icecrown/Wyrmrest quests and Battleground vehicle so far, I think its alright.

Does the Greatsword frame have the glow effect when your runic power is full?

If not, you might want to look at the code from Classic Death Knight frames, and impliment it into this addon.

I might consider using this if you add that feature.

Completely useless request: add a murloc frame. Cause murlocs rock, and creating textures can be hell to do. - Thanks! been using Squid Bar forever and this was a perfect fit. Did I say more murlocs? :P

Sorry I'm not going to add that feature, SquidFrame is just pure cosmetic ui addon

The glow effect would fall under the "cosmetic" catagory, but hey, its your addon, it's not like you're making this for anyone other than yourself. Oh wait....
This simply doesn't feel like a very polished addon then imo, i'll stick with my modified "Classic Death Knight Frame" that has this feature, and also has the proper background for the HP and MP bars.

love it!

This is PERFECT! Exactly what i was looking for. Just wanted the deadly avatar UI without runic power being changed around. Also lovin' the /squif elite. Seen a screenshot a year ago with someone having that and i WANTED one. nice job mate. Don't go puttin this outta date on us xD

Yes you can add your own texture.
After you done with DefaultFrame.psd save as <yourtexturename>.tga in textures folder, edit squidframe.lua on local textures and add your texture name there.

Code:
local textures = {
    "default",
    "<yourtexturename>",
    ...
}
and in-game /squif <yourtexturename>
