BobHUD  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.5.2
by: 10leej [More]

This is a very simple and ridiculously lightweight HUD addon. I made this addon simply because I always setup IceHUD to be this minimal, but it uses a lot of memory and cpu cycles so I wanted something more efficient.

All configuration is in the config.lua file

Supports:
Player
Target
Pet
Focus
Castbars for Player, Target, Focus, and Pet
Upcoming Features:
Add Class Reources
Check out some of my other addons
Feel like being awesome? Buy me a pepsi, only $1.50 where I live!
Source Code
MIT licensed

1.5.2
Reworked fading, adjusted config file
removed the non working combat fader, runes, combo, eclipse (because thats not needed anymore)

1.5.1
toc bump

1.5
combat fading added and now enabled by default
began code cleanup (thee might be some features removed as I find them annoyingly buggy)

1.4.1
fix for EnableMouse function. no longer using numerical values it's using true/false.
added config option to disable text

1.4a
toc bump

1.4
Added castbars (there is a known text issue with the target castbar)
Added rune and combo point support

1.3.1
Added target and focus support

1.3
Added Combo Points
Bars now update a bit more smoothly, still clunky but much more usable now
added castbar support (default disabled for graphical error)
Slight text repositioning/realignment

1.2.3
Colored power bar for all power types

1.2.2a
addon works fine .toc bump

1.2.2
fixed load issue

1.2.1
Fixed pet frame display issue

1.2
Added Pet Support

1.1.1
Fixed StatusBar update issue

1.1
Optimized Code so now rather than running at 10kb/s of memory we now use 1.4kb/s
Added a percentage symbol (%) to percentage text

1.0
initial release
Optional Files (0)

Yeah, you might need to move them around by adjust the x and y positions, but it's doable

What kind of skinning are you talking about?

You can change the arcs by simply putting different images into the media folder of BobHUD

I need to work on it most of the code is from... two expansions ago so quite a bit needs updating. But, yeah I don't use the fading personally so I leave it disabled. It's easy to turn it on using the config.lua file in BobHUD where there's a variety on options you can adjust.

Edit:
I cleaned up some of the fading code should work fine now, I also removed some error spammy parts for you dk and rogue alts

First request done

Second in the works of coming up with a straightforward solution for that.

It's possible now but you'd have to modify the core addon for combat fading. I'll look into getting this added to the config file sometime this weekend.

As for the target frame you can do that in the config.lua file but I need to review that to make it more straightforward. Probably do that at the same time.

Reckon you can fix that? Thanks!
BobHUD uses the same functions the default unitframes use for updating so I don't know why it's reporting differently. What nameplate mod are you using?

Not gonna lie got ahead of myself and I've actually got an alpha in game configuration made for this addon. Though I'm not 100% certain if I'll ever get around to releasing it.
