    Broker Played Time  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

    DataBroker plugin to track played time across all your characters.

    It differs from similar addons in that it only tracks played time; it does not track other things like experience or money.

    The tooltip lists all of your characters across both factions on all servers. The current character is listed first for quick reference. Character names are colored by class. Faction icons, class icons, and character levels can also be shown if desired.

    Right-click the plugin for options.
    Language Support
    Works in all locales. Translated into English, Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, Italiano, Portugus, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, and 正體中文.

    To add or update translations for any locale, enter them on the Broker Played Time localization page on CurseForge, and then leave a comment, or send me a PM here or on CurseForge, to let me know that youve made changes. If you dont have a Curse account and dont want to create one, you can PM me your translations instead. Thanks!

    Addons cannot write to files at all. They can tell WoW to save specific variables between sessions, and WoW will write those variables to a file in the SavedVariables directory when you log out or reload the UI. The other option for "exporting" would be to display the data in CSV (or some other) format in a text box, and let you copy and paste it.

    I have absolutely no plans to double or triple the size of this addon by adding CSV format conversion and a text box GUI.

    However, the addon already saves played time between sessions. See the Broker_PlayedTime.lua file in your SavedVariables folder. You could easily write a script in Lua, Python, or any other scripting language to convert the data to CSV or some other format, or just write your web app to be able to read the data as it is stored in the saved variables file.

    I am not so sure about that being an issue with the addon, but more concern over what it is actually showing.
    Perhaps the amount of time played is rather worrying when you see it added up.

    Sorry Phanx it was neither a bug report nor a feature request. I just had 100days more played then your tooltip in the screenshot shows

    But as feature request I woud like to see the overall played time of the char i'm on at the moment in the Broker display instead of the broker name. Maybe just days and hours because els it woud be too long
