ProcWatch  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 40300.9
by: Rilgamon [More]

ProcWatch is a tool to help you to visualize your spells/buffs/debuffs/procs.
This addon is a rewrite of WdLW (Woge des Lichts Watch).

Spells are displayed by whitelists or blacklists. Sorted by
configurable priority or by time left.

There are 4 types of indicators

Buff/Debuff

  • charges
  • text timer
  • play a sound when active
  • you can cancel buffs with rightmouse
  • warning when not active
Proc
  • charges
  • text timer
  • play a sound when active
  • you can cancel procs with rightmouse
Weaponenchant (Poison/stones/fishing/whatever)
  • charges
  • text timer
  • play a sound when active
  • you can cancel enchant with rightmouse
  • warning when not active
SpellCD
  • charges
  • text timer
  • play a sound when cooldown is ready
  • when a spellCD is static (always visible) it's an actionbutton and
you can click it to cast the spell.

ProcWatch supports ButtonFacade & LibSharedMedia for better looking spellbars (check Screenshots)

Addon Loader

The current version supports Addon Loader.
Addon Loader is a load manager, which can speed up the addon loading process.

Faq

Q 1: Blacklist and whitelist is empty. Where are my spells?
A 1: ProcWatch learns your spells/buffs/debuffs/procs when they are
active on your focus/target/character.

Q 2: Does ProcWatch know the spells of my class ?
A 2: ProcWatch is stupid. You have to teach it. (See A 1)

Q 3: I want to see spellCD-Button only when it's ready.
A 3: This would allow automated play. Thats why you have to decide
if you want to see it all the time or not at all.

Hey,

i have a smal question, i have setup a spell as 'static' and thought the button shall only be visible when i miss that buff (life tab) - but the button is still shown when i do have the buff.
Is there something i missed?

Thanks

"static" means visible all the time no matter if active or not. Only visible when
missing is "warning" which will come with v1.0

Pet buffs

As a hunter, how can I add buffs gained from my pet like Culling of the Herd? I see them in my character buffs, but they don't show up either in the white or black lists.

Different anchors

Nice addon, just one question:

Would it be possible to add the functionality to be able to split buffs/debuffs into different groups or is that something you do not want to do?

Thanks

Sorry, ProcWatch is designed to handle personal buffs and procs only. It's not possible to track buffs/debuffs that are not caused by your char.

The idea behind ProcWatch is to track only certain buffs or debuffs. Not all
of your buffs. Just the ones you want to react to quickly. Thats why it's
designed to have only one bar that you can see quickly. I dont have plans to add more. And I think there are better addons when you want to track as
much information about your buffs as possible.

You probably misunderstood me, I am only interested on incombat info, I wasn't asking for a buff addon.

For example I am currently using Satrina's buff frames setup (besides the basic buffs, debuffs, blabla) with 2 small frames positioned one next to my target and one next to my player frame to watch short term debuffs (only my own such as icy touch, blood plague, mangle, rip, etc depending on the character I am playing) and procs/short buffs on myself.

The information that your addon displays is more than enough for what I want, I would just prefer it split in two. Again I do not want it to monitor everything... far from it

Regardless I can understand if you don't want or plan to add any more functionality.

Thanks

Feature request

Hello!
I like ProcWatch, but i have one issue: i use OmniCC, and it "overwrites" ProcWatch's cooldown. Here is described how to make OmniCC igonre your addon.
And, if possobile, can you make ProcWatch monitor not only my target, but my focus also?
Thanks!

ProcWatch has the priority focus, target, self ... If you watch a buff/debuff
it will display it if your focus has it set with the time of your focus debuff.
If at the same time your target has the same buff/debuff this is ignored and
displayed as soon as it runs out on your focus.

What is described on the page is a method to disable the cd in OmniCC itself. I cant help there. If you want to disable it in ProcWatch simply switch it of
in spellsettings.

Edit: After reading OmniCC source code I understand what the link tried to
tell me Update .10 is pending and has a per spell setting to be ignored by
OmniCC.

Perhaps I'm just overlooking it, but I can't see any way to change the direction the icons flow form their anchor point, is there a way to change it?
E.G. default appears to be flowing to the right of the anchor location, I would like it to go left, is that possible? Thanks!

Any plans to make this work with rActionButtonStyler? I would make so much difference in my UI

I cant find a documentation how to add support for this addon.
Looking at the code I'd thinks it's a horrible idea to add this.
But thats just because I think every addon that influences the
way other addons work/look should be "opt-in".

Edit: It seems I'd have to use the standard onupdate function of the
actionbuttons ... this is a problem since procwatch uses its own update
(a single one not for every button). So I guess this is not possible without
a rewrite of ProcWatch ... and I'm not even through with the first rewrite

That means no ... this is not planned in this year
