Custom channels are used to for friends who are in the same server but different guilds to communicate, and a lot of other stuff.

The idea is to create an "Fu" for Fubar that scan those channels and show the names of the players on them (/chatlist) on a nice menu like FriendsFu and GuildFu do. That way, you can easily track people on those channels, invite, whisper and etc...

Multiple channel support with an option to show all merged on the tooltip or separated by channel name would be nice.

- tooltip now shows # of players in channel: #. name (#players)

- invite player to channel option added, just type name in the box provided
- refresh channel option added -- use if having problems with names in tooltip.. let me know if this helps with any problems so i can track them down
- leave channel option added
- couple fixes added that i ran into.

- only lists custom channels right now (no general/trade/etc)

- left click: whisper player
- alt left click: invite player to group
- control left click: send a /who on the player

whats the channel name? are all players showing up twice or just a few?

I guess this is related to the fact, that the addon does not notice ppl leaving the channel, and adds them when then relogon. Can you add a configureable timer, for checking who is currently in the channel? Here is the string in DE, when someone is leaving the channel: [Charname] hat den Channel verlassen. iit should be checking when they leave: CHAT_MSG_CHANNEL_LEAVE

gonna upload a new version has some added stuff.. let me know if your still having it with 1.1

edit; 1.1 is uploaded.. try it out. if you get duplicates try "refresh channel" from the options menu, does that fix it? trying to see where the problems coming from ;[

good to know it works now

not sure how to do chat links in channels ;[

i can add sticky channels

CustomChatTimestamps looks like a mod that can do timestamps better than i ever could ;o lots of customization

I would rather this mod stick to what it's supposed to be. I could have any number of other mods that give me those features and so much more (currently using Prat, for example) and chat window options like these aren't really related to what this mod does, in my opinion. I would rather have one all-encompassing chat mod to do most of the stuff I want, and then add on little features like this in separate simple mods, rather than have 5 different mods that each do one unique thing I need with a ton of other wasted features they all have in common.

And thank you so much for this mod by the way, I have been waiting for this FuBar plugin for a very long time. It's impossible for me to keep everyone in my guild alliance on my friends list, this makes it possible to know who's online without typing /chatwho all the time.

There is a channel that is used by everyone to find a group. I added this channel to the tool, now wow hangs. If i do not load then tool then wow works fine,as soon as I star teh tool then wow hangs and logs me out after a while. so it is the tool. do you have any advice where I can change the currently saved channels, as the tool does not accepts any changes , and how I can advoid this thnx regards DB

what server are you on (US?) and channel name, so i can go test.

theres no real easy to to change the saved channels. youll need to goto its saved variable file and add the channel name.

and add
