--[[TUSUI v5.0.5 Installation]]--

Welcome to TUSUI! This UI has quite a few addons you may not be familiar with. It is suggested you look at all addon options in case you don't understand what they do or how they work.

To begin the installation of this UI you should back up your current UI and prepare your wow folder to install the UI properly.

**Step 1: Begin by backing up your UI. Create a Backup folder in your wow directy and copy your 'WTF' and 'Interface' folders into your backup folder.

**Step 2: Delete all your current addons from your 'Interface\AddOns\' folder. This is to avoid any addon conflicts.

**Step 3: Open the 'WTF' folder included in this download and rename the according folders inside to match the folders in your current WoW's 'WTF' folder.
You should see 3 folders:
A. YOUR ACCOUNT NAME (not your bnet email)
B. YOUR REALM NAME
C. YOUR CHARACTER NAME

**Step 4: Once your folders have been renamed, copy them directly to your WoW folder and 'Copy and Replace' any files prompted (all in most cases).

**Step 5: Open your WoW, and enable all addons for the character you are currently installing for.

**Step 6: On log in you'll be prompted, after the TUSUI Logo has disappeared from the screen, to 'Install' or 'Ignore'. Clicking the 'Install' button will set the UI up for the character you have set the files up for.
Should for some reason this prompt disappears or you click 'Ignore' and you have not installed the UI, you may use the slash command '/tusui install'.
Your UI should reload and you'll be prompted with additional help info and a confirmation that the UI has been installed correctly.

**Step 7: ...

**Step 8: Enjoy TUSUI v5.0.5

Cheers for the reply.

I am using the power auras version that came with the pack and chain lightning is on my 1st action bar. The issue seems to come up when I use elemental mastery and it also bugs the lava burst aura. Although I seem to be able to fix that issue by disabling then re-enabling the "use ability texture" option (not sure that's the exact wording).

Yea, idk that's pretty funky... Power auras is a weird addon to say the least.

I'm not really sure if your UI is causing this.. but it seems since switching to your UI package today, my framerate dropped considerably low, and the game is choppy.

I usually fly around outside Dalaran with 60fps, and now I'm getting 25fps.

edit: yep, it is definitely the addon package.. after turning off all addons, and loading back in game it runs very smooth like before, does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this? Cause I love the UI, just hate that it's actually slowing down my gameplay.

Get an addon called "addon profiler" and give me a report of 60 seconds.

I just ran it for 60 seconds, how exactly would I give you a report of it?

edit: well after looking at which addons produce the most "garbage" PowerAuras Classic had 20MiB.. and after disabling just that addon, It's no longer choppy for me ingame. How can this be fixed or do I have it somehow setup incorrectly? It was a big reason why I installed this package too.

Thanks.

I have no loot addons that would do that.

If you followed my instructions you'd not have any addon conflicts or and addons that would do that. So make sure you have no extra addons.

Recopy the WTF folder from the UI download it seems to be missing some attributes. Make sure you have your folders renamed correctly.

I'm pretty surprised at the moment. My guild killed Yogg tonight and while we were wiping the first few pulls I was having heavy fps lag. Came down to me having to turn off the resto portion of the Power Auras. Anyone else noticing performance issues running resto spec?

I usually run close to 30fps during raids if not more but this was taking me down to 5fps and lower.

System specs
CPU: Intel Quad-Core 2.4ghz
RAM: 2-2GB G. Skill DDR2 1066
Video: eVGA 8800gts 512mb

Honestly, it may be my pc but I didn't think it would feel so outdated already. It saddens me. lol

Despite your specs most wow performance has to do with your actually hard drive read write speeds.

Try disabling skada of FX.

I never liked skada that well so I exchanged it for recount. To me it seemed to be more of a visual element. After the first pull I rebooted my pc and we pulled again but it was still skipping frames. So, the last thing I did to my ui was introduce the new power aura profile and its elements. After disabling all of them besides the water shield everything ran smooth.

We run ToC tomorrow and I will enable the auras again and see if it has the same results. Will let you know.

Oh, and as for my hard drive I run two.
OS + WoW is on my Western Digital VelociRaptor 150GB.
and everything else is on my Seagate Barracuda 1TB
