This is a stand alone data text bar that goes with Default Blizzard UI.

There are 12 Stats included with cData but only 9 positions so you can choose which stats you want to see:

  1. Bags = This stat shows Empty Bag space, the number text turns red when you have less then 10 empty slots, the tooltip shows your current realms total gold per player and what items you have checked to show in bags.
  2. Call-To-Arms = This stat shows what type of person is wanted for the Call To Arms Bonus (Tank, Healer or DPS). Clicking on this stat will open the LFG window.
  3. Coordinates = This stat shows the player's current coordinates.
  4. Durability = This stat shows the player's current armor durability, if you mouse over the stat it will show you the % rate of each piece.
  5. Friends = This stat shows you how many friends you have online. The tooltip shows you what Blizzard game they are playing WoW, D3, StarCraft, or just logged into the App. Left click opens the player's Friends Frame, you can also invite, whisper and set your Battle.net with a right click of the stat.
  6. Guild = This stat shows you how many guild members are currently online. Left click will open the Guild Frame, right click will allow the player to invite or whisper guild members.
  7. Professions = When moussed over this stat will show all the players current level of the 2 main professions and also show the players secondary professions like cooking, first aid, archeology, fishing. Left click of the stat opens the player's first main profession, middle click opens the professions tab int he spell book, and right click opens the player's second main profession.
  8. Recount = This stat simply shows you your current DPS using Recount. In order for this to work you MUST have Recount installed.
  9. Spec = This stat shows you your current spec. When the stat is clicked it will open your Specialization window.
  10. Statatistics = This stat is class specific.
    • Tanks it shows your current Armor.
    • Melee it shows your current Attack Power.
    • Caster/Healer it shows your current Spell Power.
    • Tooltip also changes per class.
  11. System = This stat show your current FPS and MS.

In-Game Options make changing the stats you want to show as easy as clicking the dropdown selecting the position and then clicking the "ReloadUI" button.

Ok this may be taking a step or two backwards. But instead of having just the one center bar for data, is it possible to have two or three? Such as one under the left and right chat frames that adjust automatically to the width of the chat frames and of coarse a center one that can be adjusted by the user and possibly turned off/on as needed.

Oh and before I forget, is there a way to set the size of the chat frames, without having to use the Blizzard re-size method? It is so inaccurate when you want both frames to be the same exact size.

Thank for the input, this addon's sole purpose it to create a data panel for information.

What your exlaining seems to be more along the lines of a Tukui complete UI addon.

Yes this addon was a spawn of Tukui but as far as adjustable chat windows and scaleing datapanels that is way to much for this little addon ( and what i mean by little is what its made to do).

But again thank you for the feed back but i think the self adjusting chat windows and panels to match is to much for this addon.

In patch 5.2 they change this API function.

hiya great addon, I use neav ui and this addon really helps, one request if possible though, on the DPS part it says "Recount not loaded" While I understand most people are using recount, I prefer to use another addon called tinyDPS, which also count dps in the same exact way recount does, so for example if you dps a boss and your dps is 100k, my tinyDPS will read it as 100k also, I don't know how these addons work, but recount is pretty heavy to me and I don't care for much anything except for DPS & Healing, and TinyDPS gives you these two informations only, so if you could add TinyDPS would be great! Check it out.

I will look into it to see what I can do.

Also if all you are looking for is your own DPS and own Healing not a groups or raids these are all ready in nData.

dps_text and hps_text are what you need to show.

bags tooltip not showing (fix included)

hi all,

the bags bar item tooltip is not showing due to an api change (thanks for doing this kinda thing each patch Blizz!). The following fix is simple and works perfectly:

replace all occurances of "GetCVar("realmName")" with "GetRealmName()"

example on line 6:  local myrealm = GetRealmName()
enjoy!

Thanks for posting this, I had it fixed just trying to figure out the issue with the Stat1 and Stat2 before I updated.

class colors in friends plugin

Hi Cokedrivers,

still using this addon and still loving it!

Just thought I'd let you know that the call to "GetQuestDifficultyColor(BNTable[i][16])" throws an error. It drills down into framexml/uiparent.lua passes the BNfriend level to a variable named challengeLevel. Something in BN is putting a string value into that variable and blowing the value comparison which throws the error.

Anyway, quick fix - replace all instances of:

"GetQuestDifficultyColor(BNTable[i][16])"

with

"GetQuestDifficultyColor(90)"

Not sure if I'll dig much further into this bug since I haven't really played with the BN code much to date, but that's definitely the culprit. Hope it helps

do you have the panel at the top of your screen or the bottom?

If it is at the top it is set to move the playerframe and targetframe to make room for the panel.

Yes, I feel if I keep going 5.4.? I will run out of 5.4's and with my OCD I will not match WoW's version LOL, if you really want to see the changes checl out Git you can look at the comments and that will let you know exactly the code I changed.
