Rage Buffs

Version: 2.0.3
by: N00bZXI [More]

{FYI, this addon comes with no configuration. If you want to configure something, edit the lua files}

{Also, I need data for non-priests! Data is spell name and spell icon}

This mod will display all buffs you don't have in a simple, compact, and easy-to-see frame. It will also allow you to make a macro that will buff you with whatever buffs you need - the macro is '/click [nocombat] RageBuffs'

This mod will not display buffs for people other than yourself, or buffs you can't cast.

If you find any bugs, or a way to make the mod more efficient, please let me know.

Q: Why isn't it Ace2? Because it's too small to be able to use any of it's features well.

Version history:

2.0.3: Added warlock and mage spells. I'll make a config to select type of armor soon
2.0.2: Should actually work on login now.
2.0.1: Bad bugfix - should work on reloadui AND login now. If you have a better way of fixing this please tell me!
2.0-placeholder: Forgot to add license. Now added.

FYI, I'm now playing a rogue and thus don't really use this anymore.

However, if you want me to add support for your class, just say so, and I will.

As it's entirely an out-of-combat mod could it cast the buff on click (only tried with herbalism, mebe it does that with other buffs, but I'm not a priest... ).

Ta!
You could make it show/hide with with death.

RageB.frame:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_DEAD")
RageB.frame:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_ALIVE")
RageB.frame:SetScript("OnEvent", function(self,event) if event=="PLAYER_DEAD" then self:SetAlpha(0) elseif event=="PLAYER_ALIVE" then self:SetAlpha(0.3) end end)

Paste this right before --secureframe

As for casting when the buff is clicked, currently, that would be out of the scope of the mod (and I have no idea how to do it) - however - I may add it in the future.

edit: @other replies:
I'm not too lazy to click three buttons, but I won't remember to click them if I didn't have this.. and I don't have any hotkeys left

Ambitionary Dysfunction. I have it too. I'm sure I could go get medication to take care of it, but... meh...

Gah!

You bastard. I'm on a personal quest against this horrible mutative genetic disease I've got called Being Lazy (I forget the medical term). And now you release this. It's exactly what I've wanted for ages! Just been to lazy to do something myself, and the annoyance threshold of clicking three buttons instead wasn't quite high enough to motivate me. Now, Laziness has won again, and I won't have to, therefore even less likely to do the next thing that comes along.

I just hope you're happy.
