Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click.
To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. You can also open the configuration GUI by running the /clique slash command. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Binding a spell
Binding a spell is just a matter of finding the spell in your spellbook, putting your mouse over it, and performing the binding you would like to add. For example, if you'd like to set 'Regrowth' to activate on 'Shift-LeftButton', then you just find that spell in your spellbook and then Shift-LeftClick on it. You can also bind keyboard combinations, so you could do the same with Shift-R if you'd like.
Keep in mind when you are setting your bindings that they will override any bindings that are already set on the frame, for example the default bindings to 'Target unit' and 'Show unit menu'. You can override these bindings if you would like, but you should then set a new different combination that will activate the original functions
Binding the 'Target unit' or 'Show unit menu' actions
If you've rebound or lose these default bindings, you can re-bind them using the 'Bind other' button in the Clique configuration. Click on the button, and choose the correct action and you will be presented with a dialog box that allows you to set the binding for that action. Simply choose a new key combination, and you will be able to target units and open your menu again.
Binding a macro
Binding a macro can also be found on the 'Bind other' button. You'll be given a new window with instructions and suggestions about writing your macros, but other than that the process should seem very similar.
Managing click-sets
Each binding can belong to a number of binding-sets. These sets determine when the binding is active. The built-in binding-sets are as follows:

Nevertheless, it means I have to avoid binding Left/Right mouse keys completely, due to absolute need (for me) in choosing unit frame before doing any action what hasn't been binded to the mouse buttons. Fortitude, Shadow Protection, Divine Spirit, Fear Ward, anything, what doesn't have to be binded via Clique will require aboring of an action which has been assigned to LeftMB, in case LeftMB has been actually binded. I own Razer Copperhead with 5 mouse buttons beside Left/Right ones. But I don't feel comfortable using buttons from the right mouse side, not used to it at all. So it leaves for me 3 buttons only. And what about those with 3 buttons total? Only 1 will be operational? |

*cough* It helps if I update to the latest version. I apparently had r87 installed. Updating to r92 seems to have solved the problem. Sorry for the bother :P

Re: PitBull party target and party pet frames
I suggest you disable everything except Pitbull and Clique and see if you can reproduce the issue. I suspect you won't be able to. Do you have some other click-casting addon installed or some other odd configuration. This is using the latest Pitbuill release, and the latest Clique release.

PitBull party target and party pet frames
I'm having trouble with using Clique on PitBull's party target and party pet frames. With no bindings to LeftButton in any of the Clique modes, I cannot Left-click to target a party target or party pet via the PitBull frame for those units. And in combat, click on a party target frame select that unit's target. I.e. it is behaving as if the frame is associated with "party1targettarget".
It behaves as expected when Clique is not loaded. |

in the formating options of clique i only have its only dependency is grid, nothing else within my UI. i have my bindings set with clique to do functions like (examples) FoL with my left mouse button and cleanse/purify with my alt+right mouse button. in a party or raid, i have no ablity to (that i know of) to clique on grid without activating another pre-assigned function as all available functions are already assigned. the keys that i use in combo: right&left mouse button, shift, crt, alt. that being said, i have a hard time /target an individual during raids and arena even with macros set up. an additional piece of information, i use ag_UF. i have followed your suggestions in previous posts, and disabled everything but clique and grid. the problem remains. thanks for your time and help. |

For example: 1.) Open the Clique UI. 2.) Click the "Custom" button 3.) Select the "Menu" action 4.) Set the click binding by clicking on the button 5.) Save Clique does exactly what you tell it to, nothing more, nothing less.

I might be missing something, but is there an option do disable it without reloading UI or is there an option to temporarily suspend it without disabling?
Example: Right-Click setup to be Renew. Everytime I want to Inspect somebody - I cast Renew. And I should be able to pulldown Right-Click menu no matter I'm fighting, sitting, speaking, i.e. regular WoW UI possibility. |
