Even if set on "Self" the combat log shows a lot of information. At times so much information that I found it hard to answer the question "How did you die ?" when my raid leader asked. This addon is a quick way to help with that question. It prints a message with the exact time of your death and installs a filter for the combat log that is configured to only show damage and healing done to yourself so that you can quickly see how you died.

Commands:
Type /wkm for options
Type /wkm show to get a report of the last 3-20 entries in your combat log (supposedly before you died, but will show any 3-20 entries, if you use it while still alive)

Take a look at the comments for a list of problems/shortcommings

1.0.1:

1.0.2:
Added LibSink support for output. Normal text in the chatframe is still the standard, but if you want, you can now use any output channel supported by LibSink.

Removed some debug output that I somehow forgot. Sorry

Now using the unfiltered combat log event. So the addon will work as intended regardless of whether you use the provided custom chatlog filter or not.

A few small things that you won't notice were also tweaked.

1.0.3:
You can now select how many lines a report (/wkm show) should consist of. For now selections lower than three and higher than twenty are not supported. (I chose those numbers a bit abitrarily, but I think seeing just the killing blow would not be useful and seeing more than say those twenty lines would be too much. )

1.0.4:
Some internal changes. You won't notice any of this till the next updated.

1.1.0:
Lines in the report are now colour coded. Red for damage, Blue for healing. See options if you want to change default colours.

1.1.1:
If you wish you can now have the report display your HP at the time of that particular event. Might be useful to see if have been at low HP for a extended period of time due to bad healing. (Default is off for now. You can change it on the report page of configuration.)

1.1.2:
Small update. You can now turn of timestamps if you don't need them.

1.1.3.:
Updated for 4.0.1 / Cataclysm

1.1.4:
Updated for 4.1.0

1.1.5:
Updated for 6.2

Game has changed a lot these past few years, so I'm not sure if this is still useful, decided to update it anyway though.

4.0.x / Cata Update

I've updated the embedded libraries and upped the TOC number. In addition I fixed a small problem, that occured with some my toons only.

Let me know if you find any bugs and I'll see to it, that they are fixed.

Not really sure what might have caused this. Maybe the old libs packaged with WKM did cause another addon to malfunction, but that's a mere speculation at this point.

Please let me know if the latest version (which includes updated Ace3 and LibSink versions) fixes your problem.

Had to remove after patch 4.0.0 as it seemed to stop whispers. Other chats were fine and whispers came back once I removed WKM

Update 1.1.0

Report lines are now colour coded. You can either choose from a small number of predefined colours or mix your own custom colours.

For now the only differentiation is between damage and healing. I *might* add an option to allow different attack types (melee/environment/spells) to use different colours, but haven't decided yet whether this is of use.

Next update might take a few days as I'll be a bit busy the next few days.

Thanks for the image. Won't make any promises, but I'll see if I can implement something like that.

Update 1.0.2

I've adressed most of the issues I had with 1.0.1 . You should be more flexible with your output options now and the inbuild combat log filter is purely optional now. The addon will work regardless of your filter settings.

Output is still rather basic though and there are no options to configure this as of yet. I think what I'll do next is make it more configureable what (and how much) you can report.

Whether I will switch from storing "combat log like" text lines or the whole events I haven't decided yet. Most likely I will stay with the current way of things for at least another few updates though.

Update 1.0.1

Added a report function (/wkm show) and refined the filter a bit.

A few things to keep in mind:
Right now the report is just a few lines of text.
The report can only be printed to your first chat frame.
If you activate another filter instead of the WKM filter the addon will screw up and collect wrong data.
Report is hard coded in english for now. Will add locales at a later date.

Will most likely switch over to using COMBAT_LOG_UNFILTERED to address the filtering issues and might add libsink support to allow for different output channels.

It would be great if you could work out a way to summarize the last 20 or so seconds by damage source and attack type.
