Comergy  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.59 Release
by: yjoe61 [More]

1.59r - A quick fix for WoW 5.0

Use /comergy or /cmg for the setting window.

Comergy is an addon for monitoring players energy, combo points, focus, rage or runic power. It allows tons of cumtomizations including customized colors, sound notifications, bar partitioning and textures.

Why you should use it:

  • It's PRETTY and NEAT.
  • You can flip the bars (right to left, top to bottom).
  • You can partition the bars (up to 5 sub-bars).
  • Comergy is now available for all power-based classes (Rogue, Cat, Bear, Hunter, Warrior, DK).
  • It switches settings automatically when you switch between talents.
  • It can show player/target's health.

Love this addon. Just found it a few days ago while revamping my UI. Would you be able to add rogue anticipation bars and or colors for that talent? That's the only thing I'm missing and have to use another addon for that. Other than that great job.

I have coded Chi tracking (poorly) into Comergy via a patch.

http://www.wowinterface.com/download...hforMonks.html

I will add Paladin support "soon".

(not quite a cut and paste)

I hope this addon will be updated further for Mists of Pandaria (and include the Monk chi points.)

Thanks.

Problem with In-game config

When I type /comergy or /cmg (or go into the addons menu and click "comergy options") nothing happens and it displays "DISABLED" in my chat log. I like the addon and have used it in the past, but I can't figure out what the heck is going on now.

Good point. I'll look into it.

This causes the bar to become much less visible during intensive fights, and I was wondering if there could be a way to turn the fading off completely.

Let's say for my four DK "sections", each one set to be 32 runic power wide, giving me four splits and a fifth tiny block at the end of the bar. I have the four "splits" set up as: Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, and the "tiny block" is the default for "max" which is bright neon green. Currently when in between the breakpoints for each two sets of colors (say Yellow and Blue) as the RP degrades it will go from blue to teal to pale orange-ish yellow, to yellow, and that makes it really hard to see.

Ideally I want the colors to work wholly on a "per block" (split) basis, so that once I've filled up the first "split" the bar becomes red and does not change color at all until it hits the next "split" breakpoint, where it becomes bright yellow. Repeat this until the max RP which nets me a bright neon green. I can already achieve full bar coloring based on splits via Unified Color setting, but the fade is what is bothering me. I don't want it to fade at all. I want quick, precise color changes only when the energy bar indicator crosses a breakpoint threshold.

Is there a way to completely disable the fades so I can accomplish this?

Enemy cast bar

One of the things I like about this mod is the thin health bars for target and self.
I can't stand all of the UI litter deposited on my screen by the full blown HUDs.
I also despise the Unit frames for self and target in the middle of the screen next to the combat display area.
I want to see as much as possible of what's happening during a fight without other stuff cluttering my view.
Your addon allows me to put the info I need below the combat area with minimal blocking of my view.

So, what I was wondering......
Can you add a target cast bar?
- Thin like your current style would be awesome!
- With the ability to toggle it above or below the target health bar.
- With the ability to display the target spell text above, below, or on the target cast bar.

That addition would pretty much put all the "unit" info I need for combat right where I need it.

Well.....
The ability to display Deadly Poison and Bandit's Guile would be nice too.
I currently use only that feature of ComboPointsRedux to display those.

Just a small request to this excellent addon: Would it be possible to make an option to hide the energy bar and/or combo points bar? Reason being that I use the sounds for the points so I don't really need the combo bar and I have moved my unit frame near the center so I can already see my energy relatively well.

I love the sounds on CP options btw, myself being a musician so I can keep up with it without even looking at how many I have. If I hear a 7th I know I have 1 point left to get.

Thx for your support. As for now there's no plan for adding things not directly related to energy/combo, mostly because I wanted to keep this thing as simple as it is. I would suggest you use addons dedicated for poison tracking.
