Cooling  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.1
by: Cad [More]

This addon will consists of 15 movable icons that will popup and show any items or spells that are on cooldown. Cooldowns are always ordered by their ending time. If several items and spells have the same ending time only one icon is shown for them. Also Scrolling/Floating combat text messages can be shown.

This addon is mainly aimed for (keyboard) players that don't want to flood their UI with hundreds of action icons, but still want to track abilities that are on cooldown.

In addition user can form icon groups and edit rules what cooldowns should be seen in those groups.

Quick setup
Call "/cooling setup", move icons where you want them (maybe use scale option too) and call "/cooling setup" again. Icons 1-6 are for abilities, 7-12 for items and 13-15 for class dependant abilities.

Usage (slash commands)
/cooling -- Shows list of available options.
/cooling setup -- Toggle icon position/grouping mode.
/cooling refresh [on/off] -- Refresh cooldowns or setup automatic refresh.
/cooling digital [button] [on/off] -- Toggle digital cooldown display.
/cooling shadow [button] [on/off] -- Toggle clockwise cooldown shadow frame.
/cooling alpha [button] [num] -- Set transparency 0.0 .. 1.0.
/cooling scale [button] [num] -- Set scaling - suggested values 0.5 .. 2.0.
/cooling copy [character] -- Copy button locations from [character]'s config.
/cooling reset [layout] -- Reset display positions
/cooling rule -- List/edit rulesets.

[This addon is to work well with Scrolling Combat Text, it has in blue text when an ability is ready]

Also, it's good to have Omni CC for this addon as well.

Cooling-2007.01.25\Cooling.lua:537: attempt to index local 'this' (a nil value)
<string>:"*:OnLoad":1: in function <[string "*:OnLoad"]:1>

---

Getting this since 4.0.1
Any workaround? Can't live without cooling

Is there a way for the addon to ignore a CD of something?

Hey this is really good! I am wondering if it's hard to get rActionButtonStyler skins to work with this?

Thanks very much

Yes you are.
But the original author of this mod, Teardrop, is not : i used Cooling, his addon, for years.
Free source code is made to be reuse, but a simple copy/paste is not really a good work, isn't it ?

Exacty the kind of addon I've been looking for for some time, thank you. The only thing I'm missing is the ability to blacklist certain items and spell from showing. Things like cd on item procs and cooking fire.

"Also, it's good to have Omni CC for this addon as well." ask the author of that mod instead of here.
