ShadowTech  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: X
by: n00beta [More]

as I'm sure 3.3 broke "shadowtech" I'll just keep this page as a placeholder. My current UI is about to be finished and I'll upload it here I suppose.

V1.3
textures are 100% satisfactory
parenting is solid
removed all excess mods

to do:
-make all the configurations work as the default. set-up is easy, but no set up at all would be preferrential.

I really want to try this addon, but most addons are out of date for 3.2. Can we expect an updated version with newer mods for 3.2?

Thanks for any help.

As for issues;

Yes you should be able to get it into 1440 res fairly easily, but no guarantees on that. I had intended to tweak and release every possible resolution, but got sidetracked by trying to fix minor problems with the UI that applies to me. I"m very OCD about these things. For example, AGUF will not show exact health without showing it as a fraction. Pitbull does this perfectly fine, however Pitbull's castbar is far inferior in a raid setting, so i needed to come up with something to mitigate this.

As for your problem with dotimer and quartz, its possible that I had set them to hide, and left the settings file in the folder, even though the mods themselves were no longer in use. Take a look in your WTF folder as it pertains to your character, and make sure there are no files for those mods, and then try reloading WoW again.

If that doesnt work i'll try to figure out what else could be wrong.

P.S I didnt actually *create* the shadow textures, I just *found* them, which believe it or not is a chore itself haha.

Now, I really like yours. Compact, lots of real estate, and it's pretty! That's all I wanna do is make it pretty lol. The skin is really cool, and sexymap is always a nice touch. You show all pertinent information, w/o it being stupidly boring. Def really nice =)

hey, this compilation looks pretty good, but I'm just curious as to whether or not I could modify it to work for 1440x900 res? Seems like a bit of a stretch really, so I thought I'd ask before downloading and whatnot. I'm still working on figuring out this whole .rar thing right now anyway >_>..

hey - the problem i have, being a lock myself, is that i want a UI that shows the targets absolute health / mana for pvp (had to change some ag settings, but really ez-sauce) and also some sort of timer on dots for pvp. so most the time i had to use xperl..... anyway, yours does all of this, and looks sweet doing it!

ty ty for this!

I've been having problems with KG as well, after the last patch, or hotfix.. or just out of the blue, i dont remember. Also, I don't understand your question, but its a moot point because I just disabled KG for the time being on my UI. sucks, but its still playable

Havent used anything from CT since BWL, and i tried satrina's but as I recall you couldnt change much. Its all good though, a relatively minor part of the interface to change tyvm

If you'd like to change it, the config menu is "/ebb config" Its one of the best (most configurable) buff mods out there, so I would suggest working with it before replacing it entirely.

I'm having trouble finding the addon which is showing the buffs/debuffs. I wish to disable/remove it for another preferred one. Is it a separate addon or integrated in some way with the rest of the compilation.

Tks
