Allows you to search for in-game sound files and play them. Files can be played as either Sound or Music files. If played as Sound, the file cannot be stopped until it has finished playback. If played as Music, it uses your Music settings, ie. Music On, Loop, Volume. Can be stopped if played as Music.

Command to open window is

/music

Well, took me long enough to update this. I've updated the list of sounds with all new stuff from WotLK and the upcoming Patch 3.1. It's possible I may have missed some, so if you believe some sounds are missing please let me know.

A big thanks to the creator of the Possessions mod, Oystein, and anyone that's worked on it for their excellent work and an excellent mod. My frame is heavily based off of the Possessions frame and it's greatly helped me learn XML.

Thanks to Ricky of Draenor-US for his list of sound files.

If they're already there, I cannot find them when searching for "Argent" "Tournament" "Argent Tournament" and so on. I just love this addon btw, allowes me to play my favorite music anywhere! Keep up the good work

Yes, there is .mpq extractors for WoW files. I haven't used them myself, so you'd have to look around but they do exist.

I was actually looking for an addon like this one for a long time, so I was very pleased when I finally found it. However, I noticed some weird things with the search function. I wasn't really interested in playing the sound files, I only wanted the music, so I removed all the ".wav" files from the LUA file and added some ".mp3" tracks that wasn't in the list. But then I noticed something strange... Let's say you want to play "Sound\\Music\\ZoneMusic\\DMF_L70ETC01.mp3", the addon won't show the file if you search for "DMF" or "ETC" or anything. Also if you want to hear the Brewfest music the "Sound\\Music\\ZoneMusic\\BrewFest\\BF_Goblins3.mp3" won't show if you search for "brew". Then I began to suspect that I somehow fucked up when I added the new files to the list, but strangely it's the same thing with "Sound\\Music\\GlueScreenMusic\\wow_main_theme.mp3", which is one of the original files that i havn't altered in any way. That file won't show up if you search for "wow", "main" or "glue" BUT it will show if you search for "screen" ... I don't know what's wrong. It's weird thou.
