Back in the day, this was the first AddOn that placed duration timers directly under the existing player buff icons. Now that Blizzard's base UI has this feature, this AddOn simply changes the format of the displayed times to the original BuffTimers format.

Not terribly exciting, but I still use it!

For all people not wanting to check the "use outdated addons"-box in the game, use a plain text editor to edit the BuffTimers.toc file in the addon folder and make sure the first line reads like: ## Interface: 50001 and then it's perectly usable in patch 5.0.4!

Unfortunately, since BO is tied into needing Sea and Mcom, and is a horrible looking mess of code (it's bad enough to where the author actually literally littered the entire LUA file with pseudo code), I doubt I'd be able to get that working as a standalone for the option of getting text color changes to my buff timers. I suppose that makes BuffTimers efficient in that it literally took only three line changes to fix it for 3.1 and you're back on your way. If only I actually knew how to code and could keep up with Blizzard's insanely stupid insistence on changing the code every damned patch.

BuffTimers only works with the default Blizzard timer icons. If you're using another AddOn that replaces or hides those, it's likely that AddOn has a mechanism for showing buff times, so you shouldn't need BuffTimers.
