Hey all this is Towelliee on Stormrage

My UI is a mix of LUI http://www.wowlui.com and other addons. But mainly credit goes out to Loui. I been using LUI since it came out and I have never looked back. As much as I tried to see if there was something better out there, there never was(list of addons in this pack at the bottom).

Towelliee's UI Installer updated with a fix to the elusive Additional Toon install bug

Never Click:

Click HAMMERS UP:

After Reload Click:

**The Towelliee's UI Installer **

On Windows 8/10 if using default wow install path(c:\program files...), Windows will block unzipping directly to the WoW folder.
To avoid issues, unzip to your desktop then copy/move the content to your wow folder.

For Mac instructions scroll to the bottom!!!

You can now post UI question's on Towelliee's UI Forum thread.

Installer/Game Instructions

Step 1 : MOVE the INTERFACE/FONTS folder out of the WoW folder. We need the WoW folder to not have the 2 folders inside.
Step 2 : Copy the Contents of the Zip file into the WoW folder (overwrite if asked).
Step 3 : Download the toon setup tool from HERE and put the exe file in your wow folder(where wow.exe is).
Step 4 : run Towelliee.exe (the Toon setup installer) from your wow folder, and select the appropriate install type, for initial install it is recommended to do a Clean Install (some installer info below).
Step 5 : Once you're in game just click that HAMMERS UP!!! button.
Step 6 : Quit the game completely before doing additional Toon setup.

If you are having issues getting your toon setup run the toon installer as admin
(right click towelliee.exe -> run as administrator)

The ui install instruction video on youtube is obsolete, do not use it as instructions to install the current UI verions

Installer Info

you have 3 install types to choose from, press the ? button for details about them.

the installer will detect if it's in the correct location, if it's not you will get errors when trying to choose account

When in the correct location you will be able to choose the account/server/toon from a list of previously played characters on this wow installation
(if a toon is not listed, log on to it, then exit the game)

What do you do if you're on a Mac?

The old manual method:

1st thing backup your <wow folder>\WTF\Account folder.

Manually copy and rename folders from <wow folder>\WTF\LUI-Towelliee\Setup.
Copy ACCOUNTNAMEHERE_NOTEMAIL to <wow folder>\WTF\Account and rename it to your Account name (look what the name was in the Account folder back up you made).
Inside the account folder rename "SERVER NAME HERE" to your server's name.
Inside the server folder rename "TOON NAME HERE" to your toon's name.

Login to your toon and hit that Hammers Up! button

For any additional toon on the same server just copy the "TOON NAME HERE" folder from "<wow folder>\WTF\LUI-Towelliee\Setup\ACCOUNTNAMEHERE_NOTEMAIL\SERVER NAME HERE" to the WTF\Account\<Account name>\<Server> and rename it to the toon's name.

For toon on diffarent server on same account copy the "SERVER NAME HERE" folder from "<wow folder>\WTF\LUI-Towelliee\Setup\ACCOUNTNAMEHERE_NOTEMAIL"
and rename "SERVER NAME HERE" to your other server, and inside that rename the "TOON NAME HERE" to your toon's name.

For a toon on diffarent account just do the entire procedure on top.

3ed - type "/suf" to open the unit frame config,then Unit Config > Target > Auras
scroll down and check the box by enable debuffs.

2nd - I might have explained it wrong because I've fixed it on my own while waiting for a reply, what I did was typing /lui went to General > Settings > Scrolled down a bit unchecked the box "Hide Blizzard Error Messages"

It's actually a weird combination of cError and that option in LUI. They both do the same thing, but interestingly enough cError doesn't work with LUI if that option is turned off. So, cError is kinda redundant in the package.

I didnt do the proper installation method to all my noob alt characters like I did for my main; before installing new add-ons. Is there a way to use the default Blizzard interface on my other characters and not utilize any of the UI/LUI on them without having to disable all the add-ons when I log into that character that is having interface issues? Or is there a way to completely copy the current interface i have on my main to my other characters; is there a certain file/folder(s)? Like going to my current WoW/SavedVariables or whatever and then copying to all my other alt characters folders? Thank you.

the settings for the target frame is in /suf > unit configuration > target

did you install any other addons besides towelliee's ui?
did you update anything through curse or some other auto updater?

when in character selection, click the addons button on the bottom left.
the in the addon list in the top left you can select specific character then click disable all on the bottom.

that what reflux does, but if you add an addon that uses Ace and doesn't have towelliee's profile, it will cause issues.
I'll look into making reflux only do the copy for the packs addons.

! Albeit i'm getting the roll window right smack in the middle of your action bar (the action bar above the lower 2). Not sure which add-on controls this, so many T_T!

Fatality when clicking Yes for Towelliee's LUI Compilation is due to LUI datatext change, just ignore it nothing really breaks. Glyph UI errors are caused by Blizzard change to _ variable, just click ignore if it pops up, if you keep getting it wait a few seconds and try again. Last edited by Skylin3r : 09-10-12 at 04:11 PM.

The loot window that appears for Need/Greed/Pass; in my interface (1920x1080 exactly) appears over your bar that you have placed between your SUF frame(s). Is this the default WoW loot window (graphics seem to have improved from the last time i was playing) or is there an add-on controlling this? Because it spawns right over top of your action bar. And if I update to 2.0.4; that will remove all my current add-ons and settings that I have configured after installing your UI correct? Thank you.

When I mount to fly or ride they both disappear...as soon as I dismount, they return. How can I get rid of these?

I switched to Serenity Square in Masque for now, which seemed to clear up the issue. Edit: Should also note that I looked for an updated Darion on Curse client, and did not see one.
