SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years
SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs

Is it or could it be possible to make a buff frame appear/hide depending on whether a target is friendly or hostile?

Invisibility?
Very nice addon. Gratz.
I am a mage. I have a noob problem. I have made a new Frame (SBF3 called "own buffs") close to my health bar. I use it to monitor buffs like Arcane Potency, Trinket activation, etc.... I am trying to add the spell "Invisibility" to that frame, but i don't know how to do it (is not in the spell list). I am used to use Invisibility in General Vezax, click it and immediately right-click on it to remove it and resume dps. So, is important for me that it appears in that SBF3 Frame. Anyone knows how to add it? is there any White list? Thanks in advance |

Hi Satrina,
I wanted to report a strange problem. I glanced through the known issues and short of being blind and stupid I didn't see anything mentioned. I started a shaman and I noticed that Rockbiter buff is screwy with SBF. Let me explain.... Apply Rockbiter buff I noticed it initially when I went to rebuff rockbiter with under 2 minutes left on it. I would recast and the buff would not update the buff display. So I thought, "Hmmm, that's weird." So I right clicked to remove the buff and recast. Then the buff would show 0.0 for time but show the proper name. So I right click to remove and re-apply and it would be fine. Happened everytime I did it last night. I know, it sounds like I've been smoking to much wacky weed but I swear it happened. Any other info you need I'll be happy to provide. Not my SSN though. EDIT: I just noticed it's picking up the name of the weapon being buffed. So if it's the Titanic Buttbreaker of Stamina; the name will be the buff with a 0.0 time. Also, I don't need to remove it to re-apply and sometimes I do. I can't seem to understand what the trigger is. I kind of wish it would throw an error. At least you all wouldn't be looking at me like that then! EDIT2: Ok, guess you missed my comment or I repeated something that's know and I missed or something?

jdaniel - I haven't had a chance to do the fix on the spellsteal filter yet, it's been very busy lately. What you would do is make a frame that is whitelist, and the filter is just "s" with nothing else.
YJMark - If you mean cooldown sweeps, that's enabled on the Icon tab. For your other question, that sort of tracking is planned for 3.2 NarusegawaNaru - I haven't planned that sort of embellishment for timers/names, but I will consder it. Photekk, nostress - You could sort of do that with filtering. I'll write something up and post it here. |

I'm trying this for a few days now. Probably I'm to stupid to get this right.
I play a mage. How do I configure a filter for stealable spells ? I know there is the s filter. What do I configure for it ? No matter what I do I get this: SBF Invalid command specified in filter "s" SBF Not adding filter "s" for frame xxxxxxx Thanks. |

Timer Question
Hi there. I just downloaded this addon, and it is AWESOME! However, I was wondering if there was a way to have the timer just do the standard graphical/analog clock countdown timer instead of digital numbers. The defualt Blizzard buff icons do that, and I'm just used to looking at my timers from that perspective instead of numbers. I looked in the Timer page, but could not quite figure it out (it was probably right in front of my face, but I missed it).
Also, is there a way I can configure a bar to track buffs on raid members that are not targets? For example, Beacon of Light or Sacred Shield. I cast those through Grid, so the target never becomes an official "target", but only a mouseover target. Plus, they will be on different people. I'd like to track that so I will know when I need to refresh them. Thanks |

I love this, its very nice. But just wondering if I can get something looking like this using it though.
I would just like to get that blue border on buffs, and a red one on debuffs etc etc Edit: According to the FAQ it should colour code borders by default. I use ButtonFacade but I have turned on the option to disable it for SBF. Also, I have timers set to use buff colours. But it only seems to be doing that for my debuffs. My buffs like Fortitude, Inner Fire etc all show yellow not blue text like expected from a buff.

Need help with organizing buffs
Satrina! This is one hell of an addon, I can't even imagine all the coding that went into this. Great job Need help with one thing though:
I've read up on how flowing and filters work in your mod and am still not quite sure how to do this pretty simple setup. What I want is for a designated number of my buffs (I have it set to about 14) to show up in a certain spot. Now, any number after that (15-x) I want to flow over to a new panel. I need this because my interface is very compact and only has room for a certain number of auras. With the new window I can then set the opacity to mouse-over and quickly take a look at the remainder of my buffs. So far I've been able to create a new window as a Child of my default Buffs window, yet I cannot figure out how to (whether through a filter or flowing) have only the buffs that I'm not currently tracking (the remainder) show up in the new window I created. It's showing all of my buffs at the moment, instead of just the ones that didn't have room in the default buffs window. Is there any way to have the buffs/debuffs flow over to a new window after a designated number? Thanks a ton! Love the addon --Jordan |
