Battle Bar

Version: 0.3.12 Stable
by: Voorije [More]

What is Battle bar?
-------------------

Battle Bar is a mini-scoreboard that displays when you are in the battlegrounds. It's a conveniant little tool that let's you keep check on the player scores without interupting your game play.

Features:
---------

-Semi-Hidden Before Battleground Load
-Displays and sorts the battle ground list automatically. (Sorted by Killing Blows, Damage Done, or Healing Done)
-Filter By Faction (Both, Horde Only, Alliance Only)
-Adjust the size of the window to anything between 5 and 20 entries.
-Show Self option makes sure you're visible on the list even if you're beyond the top (5-20 depending on settings.)

Known Issues:
-------------

None Reported - If you find one please let me know!

Future Features:
----------------

- Hide mode, (scoreboard is hidden until you hold mouse button down on frame title, at this time it will show, and then hide again when you release.
- Out of Battleground Minimize (Can select a smaller window header while outside of the bgs)
- Easy Score report (Report the score in a window of your choice, easy for telling those who keep asking about the score or let your guild/friends know.)
- Support for Arenas

Although I don't have the exact error text from BugSack, the error that occured thousands of times was only about 1 line long (which makes me think it wasn't another addon messing with it as then usually the other addon is in that text).

If I get a chance I'll give it a go tonight!
IIRC BugSack records errors per session, you should be able to export it's log.

Update:

I ran BattleBar 0.3 Beta (Downloaded from site, ie. exact same thing you get) on a fresh computer, deleted all UI-Mods & WTF Folder, installed BattleBar alone.

Runs fune, works perfectly out of the box (zip).

http://images.reanmachine.com/wow/Ba...mp-Working.jpg

As you can see it's up and running and only BattleBar is loaded using ~500kb of ram.

I'm unsure why you're having issues, but it's probably due to a ui-mod you have running on your machine screwing up the main block.

If you'd be willing to e-mail me your <wow folder>\Logs\FrameXML.log after a load of your client with BattleBar Enabled I could help you troubleshoot and perhaps figure out if there's something I can do to the mod to prevent future conflictions.

This file does not contain any sensative information about yourself or your wow account, it's the initialization log of the XML/LUA framework for WoW UI Mods. Feel free to browse the log file (plaintext) to make sure.

Additionally your BugSack logs would be nice.

My e-mail is in the main mod page.

Something is very very wrong then, that sounds like a syntax error, you may have a conflicting mod.

I tested this mod on a fresh copy of WoW and it ran fine for me.

If there's a syntax error caused by something (conflicting mod, something i missed) it'll cause a cascade of failures in the files which makes the entire mod inoperable. I'll look into it again, but like i said, fresh copy of wow... no issues >_>

This is very broken. BugSack has to keep shutting down. At the end of BT tonight (I loaded it up right before I logged in for that) it counted a total of 6,578 errors.

None of the commands work except for List.
