TransporterFu  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.0.38124.1188
by: Prandur [More]

Transportation is a precise business. Without precise calculations you could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a supernova and that'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?

The Transporter plugin to FuBar will assist you in dematerializing yourself all over the place by providing easy access to all your transportation methods.

Inspired by InnBound and Titan Portals.

Important:
With the release of version 2.0 the only dependency is now FuBar version 2.0 or higher. TransporterFu is now using Ace2/FuBar2 and because of this it is required that if you are upgrading from a non-2.x version to delete the old addon dir before extracting this one into your addons directory. (The new version has a different directory name, if you don't delete the old one, you'll probably end up running two Transporter versions side by side)

I think the error previously posted was a conflicting error with other add ons but seems to cleared up. Unfortunately now that we have New teleports & Ports I've added them to a separate version but since other users can not update this one I had to upload it under my name.

I just uploaded it today and waiting approval. So if any one wants a copy prior to that let me know.

Thanks!

I've never gotten to use it as it won't work for me (since it's not compatible with 2.0) but from the way it looks, I think I'll love using it over Innbound (offers more options for my mage). So yes please, I hope this gets updated soon!

Re: TransporterFU R.I.P.

ok, today i tried to fix some of the bugs.

everything worked fine... until everything gets fixed instead of ONE THING:

CastSpellByName

this function is used by TransporterFu, to open the portals (or teleport yourself).
but since WoW 2.0.1, this function becames PROTECTED. so it could NOT be used by any other addon except the default UI.

now, i'm gonna make some Shift/Alt/CTRL-Makros to open the portals...
I don't really know anything about WoW scripting, but a few of my guildies have been passing around new macros that work under 2.0, and one is as follows:

/cast [target=mouseover] insertspellnamehere

So would simply "Cast <spellname>" work instead? I know that some other mods are working to cast particular spells, so I'm sure there's a way.

I'll second that. As a mage, this has saved med a lot of time teleporting all over the place and I would very much like it back.

Pretty please, with sugar on top.

Re: Error

This addon doesn't work for me...
No errors, but only detects my soulstone and my raptor mount, doesn't detect my teleports and portals... Any idea??

Error

I'm getting the "MetroGnome" error when logging in, so the mod won't load. Any fix?

(And I don't have ToFu installed.)
