I have written a new action bar addon, called Dominos, and am no longer supporting this one. Please feel free to try it out, along with Trinity Bars, and Bartender 3

Bongos3 is a main action bar replacement designed be both powerful, yet lightweight and easy to use.

Included Addons:

Bongos - The core addon.
Bongos_AB - The action bar portion of Bongos.
Bongos_CastBar - A casting bar replacement. Colors the bar based on if the spell being cast is helpful, harmful or neutral. Also includes a timer.
Bongos_RollBar - Makes the dialogs that pop up when rolling on items movable.
Bongos_Stats - A movable framerate, latency, and addon memory usage indicator.
Bongos_XP -A movable experience/reputation bar.
Bongos_Options - A load on demand options menu.

Features

Every bar can be moved, hidden, and have its scale and opacity altered
Sticky bars - Each bar can be anchored to any other bar
120 action buttons, which can be setup in any number of bars
Customizable stance transitions and state visibility for each action bar
Buff and debuff highlighting on action buttons

* Changed the format used for creating the right click menu for action bars to be table driven. Take a look at Bongos_AB/actionBarConfig.lua if you wanna edit it.

I have no real intention of writing a converter. Bongos2 will work in 2.4, and I will fix any bugs that are patch related for at least this patch.

One thing I've been wondering about is support by profiles for storing the contents of the action bars.

I respec between resto and enhancement regularly, and it's a pain to have to keep swapping spells around and moving macros to the right places (particularly on hidden action bars). Is there any way to have a profile for each spec that remembers which spells are in which slot?

Its something I want to do, but for now check out ActionBarSaver

So, if I try to add a stance to action bar 1, it uses the already setup action bar 2. I really like the control bongos 2 gave over which action bar it would use for each stance. It just won't move across the bar at all. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? Edit: After poking around a bit more, I see that I can't adjust ANY of the action bar options in the window that you get by right clicking the action bar in config mode. Stance, paging, modifier.... none of these seem to be able to move, but I CAN change any of the settings on the layout tab. Last edited by Hexe : 03-25-08 at 09:27 PM.

I haven't been able to modify the mini map either.

The bongos minimap addon only works with Bongos 2

This allowed me quick access to a couple of "emergency buttons" with mouse gestures: peg the pointer in the corner and click. Bongos3 has a one-pixel border which doesn't respond to clicks, so I can't do this anymore. Would be nice to have this function back. I could probably fix it myself, but I haven't played much with Lua, and Bongos is a big beast! Any pointers on where to look?

Bongos_Minimap.

Changing Pages of action bars doesn't work like it used to, when you bring up the per action bar menu then go into modifiers, the slider on has the pages of stances. Meaning going from bar 1 to bar 2 on shift press is impossible unless you put it in your stance bar.

edit: after creating a new bar stances/paging/modifiers and everything stops functioning.

Scrap that just saw action sets and all seems to be well now :P.

And if someday I go back to Bongos3, will all those preferences remains as well? I guess yes, since Tuller stated that there is no way to import our Bongos2 preferences to Bongos3, but I just want to ask before trying Bongos3.

I am having this issue as well. The wiki state simply mouse over the button and hit the key or key combination you want to bind, but this is not working for me. Can anyone confirm this issue and if there is a fix in the works please?
