Combuctor 

First off let me just say you did an amazing job with this addon - was exactly what I was looking for in simplicity with great functionality.

I love being able to quickly view the items in my alt's bank and inventory - However, is there no way I can do a quick search of my entire database (all my alt's inventory/bank)? I would think this is already in your mod since you can search everything separate - am I missing something?

Again, I have no plans on implementing sorting. If I were to do so, I'd probably add another abstraction layer on top of the bags, but I feel that solution is overkill.

BankSort works quite nicely, and has a databroker plugin.

Sorry to repost but I found the quoted below very interesting. As it happens I was reading through the posts for two specific functions. One was sorting through soulbound items which would make managing drops much more convenient during leveling/farming and bag sorting. I'm very sure that many people have their own wants out of your project but I am very grateful and impressed with it regardless of it becoming or not a superpowered inventory mod to end all mods

would it be possible to get support for item sets saved in the new equipment manager?
would be nice to just click a tab that just shows those items for each set

Its a replacement for Bagnon_Forever that pulls info from Armory.

hey i decided to use 4x Emerald Bags on my main to use for farming herbs but unlike bagnon, combuctor doesnt seem to show the bag slots for these bags, so i end up with 16 inv (main bag) slots free.

does this addon not support herbs? if not i guess ill have to go back to using bagnon.

searching:
the search syntax changed. t:weapon finds weapons, instead of weapon.
q:epic finds epic items.
!q:epic finds all items that are not epic
!q:epic|t:weapon finds all non epic items, along with any item that's a weapon.
!q:epic&t:weapon finds all non epic weapons

trade tab:
that's where trade bags are displayed (mining, herb, profession, etc). By default, Combuctor splits your inventory/bank into normal, trade, ammo, and key tabs.

I just have a quick question. In bagnon when i am not near the bank i can still open the bank and see what i have there.. I can mouse over the individual items. In combuctor i can't.

Also i don't know the 2 issues i have with combuctor have been fixed or not namely If i have a tradeskill bag in my bank i can't see what's in it, it is not hidden by default. And secondly Rod of the Fallen monarch does not have an icon in bagnon, it takes up inventory space but it can NOT be moved or clicked in any way.

I'm not sure why, but I used to be able to just type in an item slot name in the search bar, and it would filter properly and show me all of those said items. This no longer seems to work anymore. Please bring that back.

I hope you're putting more time into this addon than Bagnon. I know bagnon seems to be the more popular bag addon you make, but Combuctor is clearly a superior addon. Thanks for all your efforts.

another batch of questions

what's the purpose of the trade tab in the "All" filter? I always see it empty. Tried to play in English, but I never see anything that fits this tab

Tab "Ammo" in "All" filter = "Projectile" filter?
Tab "Shards" in "All" filter = "Soulshard" filter?

I don't know exactly how you filter items, or build tabs, so how do you think about this ideas :

- adding more tabs for "trade goods" filter : Cloth, Enchanting, Herbs, Leather, Meat, Metals. Only created dynamically when items are in inventory?

- when clicking on the keyring icon in the wow bag bar, open the keys tab

- have seen somewhere to track gold breakdown for each character, ie built in MoneyTrail. is it added for a future version?

-updating character face when changing characters bank or bag inventory (Bagnon_Forever active)

So the main Combuctor plan, at this point, is rewrite #3. I want to try a few things, and implement the final version of the set API. After that, I think I'm going to write a thing to allow user created sets via the search syntax. Bonus points if someone does that for me now, since the current set API allows it


I actually just switched from alt + click to drag to not use it. Basically, users are 50/50 on either hating or not hating alt + click to drag. A lock option will be added in the future.

- option in the addon configuration panel to swap filters buttons from left to right. When the bag frame is on the left side, filter buttons should be on the right side.

This is one of those "beta" things about Combuctor. Its a feature I intend to add.

- I personally don't like the size difference of icons between the "all" filter view and others filters. Because all items have to be displayed when no filter is set, icons are smaller than with a filter view. I suggest to have a fixed number of inventory slots by line, and implement a vertical scrollbar if the number of slots outspace the frame

Yeah this is the tricky one. The basic issue is: Combuctor cannot be a dynamically sized frame like Bagnon due to Combuctor's tabs (it would be a pain to click on a tab, then have to move up/down/etc to get to the next one). Most interfaces do go the scroll bar route at that point, which should be natural, but I'm still not sure about it. Perhaps I'll implement a new build with the feature.

- implementation of the currency frame in the bag frame. No real idea where to put this frame without altering the bag frame. Maybe on hovering the money frame or a switch button currency/money

A currency frame, if implemented, will be placed above the money frame, similar to how the stock bags work.

I just found this addon, and it's almost exactly what i seeked for a long time. Playing with Zork's D3 orbs, it fits perfectly the Diablo 3 style interface.

I have some requests :
- ability to lock frames from being moved/sized. When I am satisfied with scale and position, it mess me when it's moved on a "oops" moment. What I suggest is to make frame movable with Alt+leftClick on title bar, and Alt+leftClick on the corner icon to resize.

Hi there! I loveeee combuctor but one thing drives me NUTZ! Is there ANY way to scale the size of the bag and bank? I know it can be resized but it only goes so small and so large. There are instances where I really need my bag open but not taking up so much of my screen. Scaling would be tops!
