FuBar_BongosFu - FuBar support for Bongos
This fu places an icon and menu in your FuBar for quick access to Bongos configuration.

***NOTE*** This release uses new API calls in the latest release of Bongos2 (dated 2007-08-08). Please make sure you're using the latest version of Bongos2 before using this addon.

Requirements
* FuBar
* Bongos2

Features
* Supports most "Global" Bongos options.
* Supports most "ActionBar" Bongos options.
* An additional "Hide Button Tooltips in Combat" option.
* Can manage Bongos Profiles (saved settings) based on current Ace profile, so for instance when you switch profiles in FuBar, your Bongos settings follow you.

Usage
Click on BongosFu to open or close the Bongos Options window. Shift-Click to toggle Bongos bar lock. Control-Click to toggle Bongos button tooltips. Alt-Click to toggle Bongos key bindings mode. Right-Click to view a context menu with various options which control Bongos directly.

To allow BongosFu to manage Bongos profiles based on your current Ace profile, enable "Bongos Profiles > Manage Profiles". Whenever your Ace profile changes, BongosFu will automatically set your Bongos profile based on the name of the new Ace profile.

Installation
# Install FuBar and Bongos2.
# Copy the `FuBar_BongosFu` directory to your `WoW/Interface/AddOns` directory.

Sure, I'll change the defaults and post another release. Apologies for confusion making!

Ok, so I installed Niagara and played with it, read its code, etc. Unless I'm thoroughly confused, and please correct me if I'm wrong, Niagara works with Ace2 addons' "slash commands" registered via AceConsole-2.0 alone. FuBar_BongosFu doesn't register any slash commands, and Bongos2 doesn't use AceConsole-2.0 for its slash commands. What this means is, I'd be surprised if Niagara displayed anything at all for either of these addons.

Please submit a bug report if you still think something weird is going on..

Dreadlorde, does this mean the intended behavior of the addon is broken? I'll test it out again, but hadn't noticed anything break for a while..

EDIT: I've retested and the syncing of Ace2 and Bongos2 profiles works just fine for me. Let me know if you're having any trouble...

basically what happend was it was on my fubar as an option. i took it off cause i had it in niagara. well next time i logged in it wasnt in niagara anymore. so i went to enable your plugin on fubar and the bongos fubar plugin wasnt available as a choice either. it still hasnt changed with the new bongos version or even ur new plugin. like i said though it still pulls up fine with /bob. im at a loss other than to rebuild my whole ui.

New version to support Bongos2

Hi all, I'll be releasing a new version of this mod to support Tuller's latest release of Bongos2. I have a feeling that Tuller has made some internal API changes for Bongos2, so I'm likely to follow suit and post a new mod FuBar_Bongos2Fu to match.

Expect a release either before the weekend, or afterwards, as I'll be traveling from Friday till Tuesday..

EDIT: I've gotten most things working with Bongos2. The last remaining issue is with Tuller's new profile management system, so the Ace2-Bongos profile sync'ing is a bit crazy. I will commit my changes to the wowace svn soon, but won't make an official release here until I'm happy with the profile management.

EDIT: All looks good. Just posted official release.

You might want to try "copying" your FuBar profile from your normal profile (I assume "Default") to another profile, either the character specific profile, or a new one with unique name. You can then reverse the process and copy /back/ onto Default profile, and hopefully this forced profile copy will cause all settings to be saved. The profile copying is supported directly from the FuBar profiles menu with latest version of FuBar. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to consistently reproduce this behaviour, but I have to assume it is some issue with the Ace and FuBarPlugin libs..

Cheers,

By the way, I was able to make the add-ons reappear after choosing a FuBar profile instead of keeping it on default as I always have.

Peace.

Lol that sounds horrible!! I wonder what happened... I haven't seen that behaviour myself, but have heard of others who have had issues with FuBar profiles.. Usually mucking around between a few different ones helps jog its memory so-to-speak.

Perhaps also you should check for a library conflict? I know AceLibrary (used by FuBarPlugin-2.0 and many others) should help take care of loading only the most recent version of any of the embedded libraries you might have floating around your addons, but one never knows (unless you manage your libraries separately and use the "no-ext" packages from wowace ;p)

Please let me know if you can isolate any kind of bug!

This release fixes my blatant bug with the last-- In my infinite wisdom I broke the click to toggle Bongos Options.. /bonk

EDIT: Now that I believe this is stable, I'm going to step away for a few days and let you find the rest of my bugs

Likely I should update the screen shots as the menus have been a bit reorganized, but I'll try and do that once the design is more stable
