SBF 3.2 Beta  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.2.3
by: Satrina, father0fnine

SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

3.2.3
+ When clicking off buffs, the one you meant to dismiss should be dismissed
+ ButtonFacade backgrounds and gloss should be hidden/shown correctly now
- Names still do not show in interactive frames
- Sorting for interactive frames is not yet implemented

3.2.2
Fix two errors on load/zone

3.2.1
Mostly cosmetic fixes
Spell tab should be happy now

For instance, I have 2 frames, one is for nonduration buffs and the other for buffs with timers. If I set both to interactive and click off buffs in the non-timer frame (my mount, for instance). One of the timer buffs gets clicked off.
Wait... are you setting the frames up with filters before setting them interactive? You cannot use filters in such frames or you will get exactly the result you are seeing (which is why the filters tab greys out when a frame is marked interactive)

Note to self: forcibly clear all filters from a frame that is interactive

Edit: Yes, what this means is you have to have a frame that shows all buffs if you want to be able to click stuff off. Yes, it sucks. Take it up with Blizzard

Trying out 3.2, seems to be a bit buggy at the moment

For instance, I have 2 frames, one is for nonduration buffs and the other for buffs with timers. If I set both to interactive and click off buffs in the non-timer frame (my mount, for instance). One of the timer buffs gets clicked off.

Similarly if I have 4 buffs in frame 2 (those with timers), when I click to remove a buff it's a crap shoot which of the 4 will get removed. Seems to be almost random.

Wish I get be more descriptive, but that's what I'm seeing so far.

Thanks for all the hard work supporting this!

Buff Frame Border Color

For some reason the border color does not show up outside of the options interface. It shows on the Debuffs, but not the Buffs. All buffs are just grey border.

Buff and Debuff Count Frames

Also posted bug report.

Buff count frame is too small causing "..." when you increase the text size.

Oh cool. Once the phantom box, name and sorting problems are solved, I won't need two frames. ;-)

Works pretty well. I got around the No-name bit by creating two frames, one with clickable buff icons and one with the bar/timer/name.

If i understand correctly, you can't Sort the clickable frame? (ie: by time decending, alphabetical, etc)

For some reason I have empty boxes where all the available spots for buffs can be. I have it set to show 45 buffs, granted we don't have as many anymore but it shows the outline for all 45 spots. How do I fix this?

Edit: Other then that it seems to work perfectly!

SBF appears to be polluting the global environment, I assume mistakenly. I was using a global 'f' to test something, and I noticed it got overwritten by the frame SBFFrame4. You might want to look and make sure you've actually declared locals as locals.

Released!

I'm just about to put the release version of 3.1 in the main SBF project. I have a pretty good list of things for 3.2 now, and I'll start on that as soon as I finish rewriting Digits. Watch this space for 3.2 beta! It won't be super soon, but not as long as the wait between 3.0 and 3.1 was

As always, thanks to all of you who tested, reported, and generally put up with errors, oddities, and my sarcasm towards people who can't read. SBF would be nowhere near the addon it is without you all!

I will not be responding to comments, suggestions, or reports in this project until 3.2 beta is put here. Please direct all comments to me via email ([email protected]) or over at the release SBF project (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ffFrames3.html)

Can you please increase the bar width pixel granularity from 5px to 1px for additional flexibility in UI customization?
