I´m switching from Fubar and trying a couple of different LDB ready addons, among them Titan.

One important feature for me is global font colour on the bar. Is this an option in Titan? Because I can´t seem to find it.

These are all LDB plug-ins that are showing up on the Titan right-click menu, but not on the bar itself when toggled. I've deleted SV's for Titan, reset the profile, and no change.
I can't reproduce it with those I have installed from the list but will try out the rest when I can. I will be pushing a bug-fixing version today out anyway, so hopefully things will get better.

Specify the plugins so I may attempt to reproduce your issue. Have you tried, to reset your profile (/titan reset) and see if that helps in any way ?

TitanRider was removed from the core distribution. However, Titan Dev Team member JoeJanko has adopted it. You can download it at http://wowui.worldofwar.net/?p=mod&m=6631

plug-in compatibility w/ new titan

i remember several times when titan panel was updated, the plug-ins needed to be "fitted" so it would work with the new version. Can someone point me in the right direction on what to look for to mod the plug-in to make it work with the new TP version.

It's a problem with Blizzard's handling of dynamically populated dropdowns. The first addon that tries to create more list entries causes the taint. This is not only limited to Titan but happens with most Unitframe addons. We have posted about this on both the beta and Macros and UI forums, several weeks ago and we have yet to receive an official response.

Sadly there is very little we can do, on our side. The only effective solution would be to eliminate using Blizzard dropdown menus in Titan and in most if not all of its plugins, which is at the moment, an option we are not considering. Either use the /focus slash command (it won't taint that way, because the secure code is handled properly) or use an addon that provides its own focus frame, eg oRa2.

I thought it might be due to FuBar2Broker, as I'm still using some FuBar plug-ins, but even after disabling (and deleting it) the issue remained.
The LDB plug-ins work on other LDB display mods I've tried (Fortress, ButtonBin)

If you cannot see them there, then something is wrong and the plugins cannot register with LibDataBroker properly. If you can see their menu item however, simply "checking" it, should allow you to add them on the bar(s).

Yes, we have updated.

Yes, I know we are freaking late but we aren't dead (yet).

Yes, you can go nuts.

Yes, there are release notes concerning what has changed for this thing, on our googlecode page, here.

Yes, this release is 3.0.2 compatible and will also work on WotLK, since it is essentially the latest developer release we currently use at the beta.

No, you may not use this on 2.4.x if you are a European resident and your patch isn't due for some hours. You will make a mess of your addon.

No, we won't be releasing this on Curse, please stop asking and emailing, it's annoying and only makes me more angry that I actually have to post something about it here.

No, you do not absolutely need to wipe your savedvariables before running version 4.0, nothing should break. However it is recommended that you do so, in order to start with a "clean" profile.

Yes, we know servers are slow but what can you do, it's patch day.

Yes, we know that some of your older plugins will/are giving errors with version 4.0. It's a major upgrade that breaks compatibility. We apologize for any inconvenience but at the end of the day we opted for the longevity and efficiency of the addon versus backwards compatibility. Hint: Look for updated versions, ask updates from the original authors, better yet, go the Data Broker category and look for alternatives.

Yes, we know that some bugs might have slipped under the carpet. Please use our googlecode issues page to report them. Makes everyone's life helluva lot easier.

Yes, I need to slap GoG for (probably) falling asleep and letting me deal with the mess (<3 Gogie ).

/agree with Tristanian.
