OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

The 2.2 version is up. It should be compatible with 2.1, though I've not tested it on the realms here yet. No major changes were made, beyond me recoding the basic version. I'm still planning on rewriting OmniCC in the future, but decided to wait until after the patch to do so.

Occasionally, but not always... when I stealth I lose the CD count.

I use Omni with Bongos, both updated. Not sure if this is tied to Vanish somehow, but every once in awhile while in stealth I recognize that my cooldown numbers aren't showing.

Not a big deal, just thought you'd like to know. =)

Using with X-Perl

The countdown doesn't appear on the buff/debuff icons when using X-Perl unit frames.

Is there something I can modify in the code, or is that better left to you (Tuller)?

Try disabling the blacklist (/omnicc blacklist)

Yep, I've toggled that to make sure it is set properly:

OmniCC: Showing cooldown text on all frames

As a test I 'Renew'ed myself and that buff shows the timer, but Power Word: Fortitude does not.

Perhaps that is normal behavior?

More testing seems to indicate that the timers that are showing up are the timers supplied by X-Perl.

If I turn off the display of timers in X-Perl, no timers show up. If I turn on the display of timers, X-Perl's timers are displayed.

No combination I can think of puts the OmniCC timers on the buffs or debuffs.

OmniCC appears to be vanishing when I change areas from inside to outside... it comes back on its own sometimes, or when I mount up. I keep noticing it in AV when leaving the cave.

2.0.2

So to explain a few new things...
  • The blacklist has been replaced with a Minimum Scale setting. The lower the value, the smaller things can be for OmniCC to show up on them.
  • You can copy colors by dragging one color button to another.
  • You can mouse wheel sliders to increase/decrease by one step.

This is my first major release that uses a library from wowace. Be on the lookout for possible conflicts.

Doesn't seem to be showing cooldowns on the actionbar for me.

I can call up the new options window and play with all the new settings, but there's no cooldown model or pulse that shows up on my actionbar. Character frame and bag cooldown models work fine.

I tried disabling everything except for Bongos2, Bongos2_ActionBar, Bongos2_MapBar, Bongos2_Options and OmniCC, OmniCC_Options. Still doesn't show anything on my actionbar.

Version 1.3 works fine for me.

Does increasing the minimum scale make it show up?

I had to revert back to 1.3 as well. No display whatsoever with 2.0.2 even with messing with the scale. =(
