Introduction:
Neuron is a full featured action Bar addon for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

Important Note: Neuron tentatively works with World of Warcraft: Classic and The Burning Crusade: Classic, but none of our developers actively play Classic, so support and bug fixes are offered without any guarantee. Realistically, many bugs in Classic require max level characters to debug, and none of us have any such characters. Outside help with Classic is always welcome!

Theme Support:
Neuron inherits all theming courtesy of the Masque addon. Neuron has full Masque compatibility, and the theming options found in Masque are quite in-depth, not to mention the robust portfolio of skins made to support Masque. In short, you can make your bars look any way you like!

Features:

Graphical Editor:

have an really annoying bug.
When i hold the arrows in the settings, to modify any of the values in the general options, it gets stuck and moves endlessly until i have to reset it with a reload. makes configuring a nightmare. no errors whatsoever.

if i drag the icons from the outfit manager to a bar it gives me a bright green texture instead of the icon. I tried to change the icon by editing the button but its still a green texture. it does still switch gear when i click on it and if i mouse over it it shows the tooltip info it should have.

also is there a way to close the icon picker window without actually selecting a new icon? i wasn't seeing a button to just close and escaping closes the edit menu but not the icon selector.

also i have noticed the arrow thing solence was talking about.. you hold the button down on the arrow and the numbers just keep growing until you move the mouse off.. but if you put it back over it will still keep going.. i've managed to get it to sort of stop if i hold the button on the other side down for a bit but it won't let me type anything in the number box anymore and clicking the spot where the number is just increases or decreases the size as if i were clicking the arrow button. if you type the numbers in to begin with you're fine it seems.. or after reload if you've hit the arrow button.. i could have sworn it had been an ongoing issue. but maybe i'm mistaken..

and the bar list not scrolling on the left side of the bar editor is rather frustrating.. if i have more then 15 bars listed its hard to get them to show.. if i were to be seeing say the top of the list "action bar 1" and needed to see whatever name is the 16th bar that doesn't show up on the screen, i can click the arrow at the bottom of that side area and then click the bar name name and it will scroll down basically all the way down.. so if i had like 40 bars.. i would only be able to see the bottom 15 bars now.. but nothing in between unless i manually move the scroll bar to like the bottom middle.. and then click a bar also on the bottom middle it would move down in more of an increment.. so technically there's still a way to view everything on the bars list.. its just.. really annoying trying to if you have an excessive amount of bars.. which i don't but i tested it because i figure you never know.. someone might!

I'll get to work on all these bugs. Do you guys mind opening up individual bugs for all these issues? It's getting to be a bit to track in my head

i added bug reports for each one of the 4 i mentioned ...

i would like to say thanks for keeping this addon going .. been using this addon probably since it first came out except when the memory skyrocketed and lagged me constantly.. i had to try to find something else during that time.. and all the other bar mods feel almost soul sucking in comparison... so i'm glad that that issue has been dealt with and honestly most of these other issues feel more like annoyances then addon breaking.. at least for me

thats probably also why i'm noticing all these bugs.. only just started working on trying to get my bars set back up now that the expansion is winding down and i have more time lol

Fixed two of your bugs, and the other two will be coming in a future major release. All GUI related bugs (which there are A TON) will end up getting wiped away with my brand new GUI I'm making.

Wait, sorry, I'm confused. Is the version I just released still bit working for you with the equipment sets? I don't know what you mean about telling masque it's an action button

the icons work.. it was the border when equipped i was having issues with..

the tint is apparently slightly more yellow in neuron then it was in bartender for some odd reason on individual pieces of equipped gear on the bars like say the stormwind cloak of coordination, and because of the skin i was using was a copper color i totally overlooked that there was even a tint.

also apparently neither bartender or neuron shows borders around equipment set icons when they're dragged to a bar.. so maybe that is something on blizzards end..

so basically just ignore the complaint..

I know I keep talking about the new GUI that's perpetually "coming soon", but I actually made a substantial amount of progress on it today! All of the boilerplate code is laid, and we now have a fully working GUI window that shows the list of bars, allows you to select bars, and automatically refreshes as bars get added or removed.

The first steps are always the hardest, but we're well on our way now! I just have to actually wire in all the features to the new GUI.

Trust me when I tell you that this is the only way Neuron is going to survive or be able to be expanded upon, the current GUI mess was a complete nightmare. It was a patchwork mess that was pretty much unworkable. This new one is going to be kick-ass.

And here I thought you would run out of steam after several months. Evidently not so....!! :P

Btw middle click on mouse is fixed. Thank you.

Getting world server down again which keeps wiping everything but action bars and resetting them to center screen with no buttons (bag, menu, extra action, status, cast, and zone). Action bars are unaffected, shrug. I just changed my bag bar to a single button action bar with a script (macro) that opens and closes all bags at once though. Actually, I think I like it much more than using a bag bar.

And I'm still wanting to learn lua. Opened the file again and saw where you were working on structuring the code and adding in comments. Life sidetracked me for a bit but trying to get back to it.

Here's a sneak peak on what I've been up to. Not much to be see yet, but I think it's marked improvement
