I'm moving the tracker to just above the chat from, which I have in the lower-left corner. Basically, the left of my screen is the chat frame on the bottom, and the player frame in the top corner, and the party/raid under that.

I want to have the quest tracker placed just above the chat frame, and fill upwards, so that if I "minimize" it, it collapses down so the header frame is just above the chat frame now, and the rest is hidden, if that makes any sense. I used to use QuestGuru which worked like that, but it seems defunct now which lead me to find this addon which is great.

I've also noticed what an earlier poster mentioned about it seeming to jump around sometimes. I think it has to do with the size of the frame getting out of whack. I noticed that when I Was trying to place my frame, even though it was collapsed, the rest of the fram was "still there". I had it collapsed to put it just above the chat frame so it was out of the way, but I couldn't click my chat tabs all of a sudden. When I maximized the tracker frame I realized it was covering them and I couldn't click through, even when I had the tracker collapsed. So there seems to be an issue with the frame when it's getting resized. Hopefully that helps track it down.

My resolution is 1280x1024 or 1280x768 depending on which display I'm using.

Great mod. I'd like to leave Remove completed objective check, and have remove completed quests from tracker uncheck.
Any fix for this.

It's set up that way right now because you can't normally track quests that have no objectives so leaving quests in the tracker that had no tracked objectives seemed odd. I guess I could make them independent.

I'm not sure. You might have to turn off the default tracker in the options, or it may hide it. Regardless, I've set the options in Inquest to not show the tracker on mouse over and to not show completed objectives, but occasionally Inquest's tracker still pops up.

I think anyone who uses another tracker will most likely want to hide the one from Inquest. A number of addons enhance the default or add their own tracker. Just about all of them have an option to disable the tracker if you do not want to use it. I know BeQL had a similar option for its tracker.

I use Inquest for the changes it makes to the quest log. That is being able to move the questlog, show the levels of quests, etc... An option to disable the tracker would be far perferable to trying to manipulate the options into not showing it or trying to move it to the corner of the screen.

I imagine the easiest way would be to make a backup copy of:

\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Inquest\Sounds\Victory.mp3

... then rename whatever .mp3 you want to use instead as 'Victory.mp3' to replace it.

Thumbs up Request: track quests with no objectives

I love this addon - discovered it after noticing that bEQL seems to be dead post 3.1 patch. However I have a request. I wish I could track quests with no objectives. These are usually the "go to place x and speak with person y" and when you try to track them, WoW complains that "This quest has no objectives to track". I like to see them in the tracker because otherwise I forget about them entirely. Also I can mouse over them to read the instructions. Thanks for the great addon and for listening to my request!

Sound for Objective completion and Progress

Thanks a lot for this very useful addon.
I was using the defunct QuestGuru before 3.1 and QG provides features to allocate a sound for Objective Completion for quests which have multiple objectives (except Quest Complte), as well as a sound for Quest Progress (like, each time you loot a quest object) which would be played when there is no quest completion or objective completion. These are very useful especially when in a group or doing some quests that are hard to recognize quest progress. Is there any chance you will add this to InQuest as well? Since you already have a sound option (which has more choices than QG and I love it!) , I assume it won't be hard to add these as well?

Talking Great mod!

omg I love you so much! I've been looking around forever now for a good tracker that does quests + achievements, has the icons next to the quest for clickability and hides it when I'm raiding/dungeons :3

Keep up the amazing work!! You rock!! <3

Sounds for Quest progess, Objective complete

Thank you very much for the quick implement of the additional sounds!
Some players might prefer the sound to be played while selecting one from the list if they are not familiar with the sounds, like the sound module in Prat does.

You can hear a sample by clicking the speaker icon next to each sound in the dropdown.

Version 1.15 is very bad.

Unlock tracker, try to move the tracker, and then BAAM, you can't do anything, not even quit the game. the tracker just follow your mouse and you can release it :-)

You're the second person to bring up this issue but I'm very unable to duplicate it. Where are you clicking to move it and does this happen every time you try?

Yes, dosn't matter where I click, as soon as I click on tracker, it just hook to the mouse and never release, you can not even end the game, you need open chat by pressing enter and type /rl

Ps:
Can this only happen to people that use CowTip addon ?
