bubuUI

1920x1200 and 1920x1080

I use a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 resolution. For now, I have decided to also support a 1920x1080 resolution. Whether I'm going to continue supporting both depends on how time consuming it will be.

I got rid of all addons that are not visible in the UI, like my trade skill addons or Auctioneer, to simplify the installation and setup of the package.

Credits go to CaithUI on which layout my UI is based on and which got me started fiddling around two years ago, to all other addon authors and Dukee, whom I bombarded with screenshots.
Not to forget, big, big thanks to Mani!

Many thanks to Beliablue for providing a 1680x1050 Resolution pack. Please click here if you want to use her resolution. Brilliant work, Belia!

Note:

The icons you see on the party image are cooldowns I set up with Power Auras and are class specific icons I use on my Shadow Priest. That's why I have not included Power Auras in my UI pack. It's useless for any other class.

Installation Guide

1. Make a backup of your Interface, texture and WTF folders, as for your macros.
2. Download and unzip the UI package into a new folder.
3. Open the WTF of your UI package and change the folders ACCOUNTNAME (has to be in caps), your servername, your charactername
4. Select the WTF folder for your resolution and copy and overwrite the texture, fonts, WTF and Interface folders into your WoW copy. Re-name it to WTF, once you are done

************************************************************************

5. After starting WoW, make sure every addon is enabled
6. Set your resolution in Blizzard's video settings
7. For UIscaling type or paste in chat the following:
/console useUiScale 1
/console uiscale 0.75999999046326

************************************************************************

8. Type into your chat /reflux switch bubuUI OR type /reflux switch bubu1080UI if you are using the 1920x1080 resolution.

If I am wrong or just simply missing something very simple please tell me, also wow is saying various add-ons are out of date however I downloaded your UI only moments ago, should I try and find the up to date versions of those add-ons or will that change what the UI is supposed to look like.

This is a screen shot of the UI as I see it on my druid: http://tinypic.com/r/2dcfwxs/7

Ty for a fantastic UI though, hope I can fix these issues and make it work for me

Edit: Furthermore how do I change it to that the action bars which are 'hover over to see' on either side of the main action bar to be visible all the time?
Hello Shalley,

I'm sorry, I've been on vacation for the past 2 weeks and won't be back till Friday.
At the moment, I am on a tiny laptop that is a little better than a typewriter, so it was a bit difficult to see what was on your screenshot.
From what I can tell you have not copied the texture folder over to your WoW folder, seeing that you're missing the border textures. It is in the package though. Please copy it over and do a /reload ui. It should fix it.

As for the outofdate addons, yup, I haven't had the chance to update anything, since I've been away But I'll do it when I'm back.

For the action bars you go into bartender, /bt and go to the bars 3 and 4 and change the visibility.

I hope I could help you a bit.

Hey Hey

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'll try anyway

When playing on my Hunter, I've noticed that ForteXorcist won't keep track of my Serpent Sting, not sure if it's because serpent sting is not categorised as a "spell".

so my questions is:

Do I somehow have to plug-in the spell myself, or is there some way to make it track serpent sting?

This is a problem with many buff addons in 4.0, the only way to fix it is to not use a buff addon.

Question: What addon makes the female gnome say "fitority" or whatever it is every time I /rl the UI and sometimes when logging in?

I am trying to get the 1920x1080 UI pack to work and it isn't. When I try to type the "/reflux switch bubu1080UI" it dosnt do anything, just reloads my UI. I tried to check to see if it was me being dumb and using the wrong WTF folder but I changed the WTF 4-5 times just to be sure. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem or if it is just me.

edit: figured out what i did wrong T.T

That would be Bugsack telling you there are .lua error(s). The female gnome is actually yelling "fatality" which is the default sound file for the mod.

If you have the minimap button enabled and the sack is red (instead of green) you can right-click the icon to see the error(s). Left-clicking will open the options window. If the minimap button is disabled Bugsack is listed in the Addons menu.

First off, Thank you very much for taking the time out and created this beautiful UI, its always something i've been looking for, very clean and easy on the eyes.

I've installed your ui and pretty much set it up the way to my preference but I noticed I see this timer whenever i'm in a daily dungeon finder. Please see attachment. Please tell me how to get his off or maybe move it? I've searched and can't find what needed to be enable. Thanks.

Hello Roguegain,

that timer is dbm. Go into /dbm > options > bar style and click on 'Move me'. Should do the trick

Hi,

First, thank you for your UI, it's wonderfull.

I'm a shaman and i have a little problem with Pitbull.
It uses a totem bar/buff just above my character's frame.

I de-activated it in the pitbull config panel but nothing works, and i would like to get rid of it.

If you could please help me, i that would be just perfect
