The only thing I'd suggest based on the screenshot is adjusting the Combat Log tab position down a bit to line up with the other tabs. That's always bugged me with this style of tab display.

Tabs are better using this for sure. Great addon.

Is there anyway to remove the Additional Filters tab on the combat log completely? Anytime you mouse over the combat log, the filters tab pops up, even if you remove all the filters. Pretty annoying tab imo.

It is pretty big, mainly due to the Ace libraries. Though they'll only get loaded once amongst all your addons, so usually isn't an issue in terms of memory usage.

Done and done. Uploading 0.1.1 now and should be approved sometime in the near future

As in, the big black bar? Hmm, it may be possible, though a little complicated. You'll probably end up with a big empty space where no text is though

Ya, the black bar. Even a big empty space would be better imo! Not sure how tough it would be to remove tho.

Conflict Bug With gChat

So I love the idea of this addon. Getting rid of the ugly tab background is a must for my UI, as I'm all about aesthetic functionality.

Anyways, it seems there's some conflicting issues going on with the chat addon gChat. Whether or not you're interested in taking a look at it I don't know.

The main chat tab, the default where all addon messsages, UI messages, Blizzard messages login/logoff etc, is coming up blank. Some text still appears, but it will skip large sections, showing only the timestamps.

That tab also holds Trade, LFG, and Local. What you see there is Trade chat... but invisible.

All the other tabs show chat properly.

Screenshot below.

I think it's an issue with Time Stamps, though I have no idea on what could cause the conflict yet. Try disabling Time Stamps and see if the problem persists

I originally tried that to no effect. Seems the trick was relogging after the change. A simple /reload didn't work as that is what I did the first time around. Of course, it was as raid invites were going out, so I didn't really have the time.

If you or the author of gChat could figure out what the issue is it would be great. Timestamps are very useful for those of us who alt tab a lot.

I noticed this happening too and I am using BasicChatMods so it isn't just a conflict between GChat and this addon I am not sure what causes it but I will disable timestamps for now . Thanks for the great addon and keep up the good work!

Ok, so I just dropped in Prat 3.0 and it works perfectly with nibchattabs, however oddly enough when I dropped in Fane and re-enabled BasicChatMods (of course disabling prat) and that worked perfectly so I don't know if this is of any use as for information but I figured I would let you know of my small experiment.

3.3.5

Working on an update for 3.3.5. Due to the number of changes to the chat window it may take some time. Will hopefully have it ready within the day though
