Shared Media Guide

If you wish to use your own custom textures, then the best way to do this is with SharedMedia.

Step 1: Install SharedMedia
  1. Download SharedMedia
  2. Copy the SharedMedia folder from the download to your Interface\AddOns\ folder
  3. Inside the Interface\AddOns\SharedMedia\ folder, rename MyMedia.bat.txt to MyMedia.bat
  4. Double-click MyMedia.bat

Step 2: Install your custom textures
  • You can either grab textures from other downloads (such as Power Auras Classic) or create your own. Custom textures will have either a .blp or .tga file extension.
  • Move any custom texture files you want to use into the SharedMedia_MyMedia\background\ folder.
  • Run the MyMedia.bat file once again to register your new textures.

I tried both Trinket 1 and 2, doesn't seem to work. I MAY have set it up wrong though. I looked through the options over and over again. Despite checking the box that said show even where there are no points, nothing appeared

It's about time I took nibPointDisplay to the next lvl

Hi, I have a problem with the fading conditions of point bars.

My holy power is set to 100% alpha when in combat and when hurt, but 0% when a target is selected and when out of combat.

The issue is that if I'm out of combat while hurt and I select a target, the holy power disappears. This causes me to set the alpha for when I have a target to 100% but then the bar is forced into being shown even when I'm out of combat and doing something that does not require my holy power to be shown i.e. I've selected an auctioneer as a target.

Would you be able to make a checkbox for the 'has target' fade? If it is unchecked, having a target would not interfere with the displaying of holy power, so if I set my out of combat alpha to 0%, even with a target, the bar wouldn't be shown. If it was ticked, it could work as it does currently.

I understand if you don't want to/don't have the time to add this, I just really dislike showing information when it's not necessary. Otherwise, this addon is pretty much perfect.

When you use the class color option, you can't change the color of the borders if they are custom~ At least while configuring. They are just black :P Know you're not playing anymore, but I might as well post errors if I see them <3

I lied, seems that border colors are in the Class Color options

Just a heads up, combo point config mode is being over-ridden by "combat fader enabled" setting. Transparent = no visible config.

EDIT: If possible, have maybe the Class color be at max, and have a shade or two darker for when it's not filled? Just a suggestion for maybe a future update~ Thanks again Nib!
Ohh, good idea. Will definitely implement it.

EDIT2: Maybe something similar to my EXP_Bar (fading wise)

Just a shade off, but it bugs me to no end :P

Quite strange.
Hmm, a very rare bug, that pops up occasionally. I suspect AceDB is the cause. Any way, to fix:
  1. Open up Addons\nibPointDisplay\Core.lua in Notepad
  2. Do a search for this string: ["hp"] = {
  3. Change the Y value there
