Skada (All in 1 Folder)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.4-9
by: blizzart [More]

*outdated* Now includes in original Skada.

Skada is a modular damage meter with various viewing modes. It is inspired mainly by Assessment, but also by Recount.

Skada sports segmented fights and detailed views, while being highly efficient with memory. This is accomplished by aggregating data on fight segments.

You get the original skada here.

because those addons are meant to be modular

meaning that you can choose what you want to use and what not

way more efficient imo than putting all modules into one addon and never using most of them...

You can turn off all the modules ingame. Example for Pitbull4, just type /pit

Then uncheck every module you dont plan to use. Is there a point to having 2 different places to turn off modules?

the ingame method still loads the module completely
and not everyone likes it that way

disabling the module as an addon itself allows us to avoid unused code, thus saving memory & cpu/s

anyways, a mods comment section is not the place to discuss about designing principles

Thats right, with this method all modules are running.
But i think that everbody has on this days enough ram/cpu for addons like this :>
But you can activate the addon for the raid and deactivate after the raid?

If i have time, i can take a look for a method for deactivate modules.
My problem is that me is atm not playing wow cause of not enough time :/

There's no difference really, other than a cleaner looking Addons folder (which I prefer). For as long as I've been using Skada, I've never turned off any of the modules. I haven't seen a need to do so. However, with addons such as DBM, ForteXorcist, Deus Vox etcetera, I would imagine keeping all the modules outside of the original folder a necessity.

what happens when skada gets updated, are you going to compile a new 'all-in-1' for it, or how does that work..

You should do this for Pitbull 4.0 as well

While Pitbull does get updated semi often, you can literally go patch to patch without needing to update. No new features ever get added, just really small unnoticeable tweeks.

Is it possible somehow:

1. to hide config icon?
2. to make window locked in a sense:
a) no tooltip
b) clickthrough
c) no left click intercation
d) no right click interaction

i really really need this one cuz i like it to keep in the middle of my screen with low font and no background but since im tanking mostly i cant click on whatever cuz i click on windows

thank you very much for this remarcable addon and possible help

Did you look in the options yet? 3 or 4 of the things you mentioned are right in the options.

what? is it 3 or 4?

only "no tooltip" is in options ... you can't remove config icon.. .you can't remove clicking ability on the lines.. you can't make windows clickthrough...

if you know a way please be so kind and share... i would be the most grateful... i can't find it...

either im dumb, or blind... anyhow... that's probably the reason i asked here... so if you know how please share the info... don't be a troll and just state something for self purposing reasons.

thank you.
