I see the addon uses the engine from tekticles. It's strange then why it doesn't modify the numbers on my action bars, tooltips, quest text, etc. The game still uses the default font. I'm selecting Calibri from shared media or from gmFonts presets. Oh, the text on the Adventure Journal only display the shadow (same as tekticles).

Good 'ol tekticles changes everything, except the text on the adventure journal.

On another topic, didn't the development of tekticles stopped because the Calibri font isn't free?

Hi,

thanks for the feedback.

I'm selecting Calibri from shared media or from gmFonts presets. Oh, the text on the Adventure Journal only display the shadow (same as tekticles).
Uhm... I have added some fonts definitions (taken from Phanx's PhanxFont on github and I have my journal modified as well.

Here is a screenshot with different fonts

I could'n say anything actionbars, because I use Zork's rActionBar:
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ionBar_Gm.html

but if I disabled it something is changed:

On another topic, didn't the development of tekticles stopped because the Calibri font isn't free?
Uhm .. I have checked the license on the fonts and it says they shipped free with some free tools (from Microsoft also). BTW this is a false problem because Carlito is a dropin replacement of it so there is no reasons (if not affective) to mantain Calibri in the addon

I'll try to update addon asap.

Thanks for replying.

Well, the Carlito font isn't a 100% equivalent, but it's pretty close and looks good. Personally I still prefer Calibri.

I'm using Bartender. It doesn't seem to have an option for fonts. I don't know how, but tekticles can change its font. It also changes the font on the NPC / PC names. gmFonts doesn't (or I don't know how)

Here's a screenshot with tekticles, notice how everything is changed to Calibri.

Here's a screenshot with gmFonts and Carlito. Notice how Bartender's numbers and NPC names aren't changed.

This is what I was talking about the Adventure Journal. It happens with both gmFonts and tekticles.

I bring this issue to you because you're using tekticles engine, so I'm supposing it should replace the same fonts (if not more) besides the nice additions you implemented with gmFonts.

Uhm I have to investigate e bit more....

could be an addon with a name in the middle to gmfonts and tectiles (they are load alphabetically I presume) that overwrites this fonts ?

Can you try the same test with only bartender and gmfonts ?

btw I'll investigate more and let you know.

This happens due to a font:
Lua Code:
  1. SetFont(GameTooltipHeader,                  GMFONTS["B"], 15, "OUTLINE")

if we change in this way:
Lua Code:
  1. SetFont(GameTooltipHeader,                  GMFONTS["B"], 15)

is very different

Still investigating...

Sure. I'm at work atm, but I'll check as soon as I get home. That's about 6 hrs from now tho

EDIT: Sorry, I've been sick lately and didn't have the will to get on the game. Here's what you requested:

Letters are changed, but numbers aren't.

This addon seems to be blocking Prat from saving shadow (effect) on the chat font.

gmFonts probably is unable to setup a shadow effect, but Prat should be able to overwrite the fonts in use in the chat.

I don't know why it is not able to do so.
It could be a problem of the font being used ... have you tried to use gmfonts and the default font setup ?

Hi,
do you want to change only the size or the type too ?

The type can be changed, the size is tied to the normal font.

Yes, only the size, because I use Carlito Bold. So there's no way to chance on the addon?

You can change the size of the font, but the new size will be used also for everything else uses the same font in the game.

If you check the core.lua you find a lot of lines like this:

Lua Code:
  1. SetFont(SystemFont_Small, GMFONTS["N"], 12)

12 is the size of the font.

The other "little" problem is to find which font is used in the pg stats panel.
You have to try a little bit
