Addon Versions

Version: 1.1
by: Shooshting [More]

Update: Added requested feature of export to text & csv files.

Addon Versions is a small application which will show you what addons are installed, what version they are and what interface version they were made for.

It was made to make the manual updaters life a lil bit easier.

**This program does nothing to wow, only reads .TOC files**

To view the source of the program and learn how it works please visit the offical page.

Addon Versions Main Page and Additional Info

Yes, I think I understood. I thought you meant it helps with manually updating the toc numbers but what you probably meant was that it helps doing manual addon updates, not using an update tool.
Thanks

cheers!
No rudeness taken IRID1UM, I think maybe you miss understand what the program is for, it's not to update anything, but just to show you what version and interface version for each addon.

Sure you can load out of date addons but sometimes blizzard makes changes to the API which can cause errors in out of date addons.

Hope that clears up any confusion

One comment: the interface version for AddOns with "30100" in the toc are displayed in your program as "3.0.1". To be accurate they should be identified as "3.1.0" or some such. AddOns for "3.0.1" would have "30000" in the toc.

Thank you.
Thanks for the heads up Jaim, will have a gander and make the change

Awsome tool, I always prefer to have full control on my addon updates and this will save me a lot of time.
It also reminded me that I need to keep an eye on some of my non-updated addons. Shared Media for example was still on the 2.3 toc

*edit*
It does not concern me personally (7zip ftw) but I have a feeling the use of .rar instead of .zip may lead to a few upset people. Just a heads up
