This happened to me also until I deleted the entire LocationFu folder and copied a new one over

I have a problem with updating the location. If I click on it to insert the location in a chat box for instance, it shows the right coordinates, but on my screen it doesn't.

One option doesn't work

(posting this here as ckknight doesn't appear to reply to any of the bug reports showing on his portal)

I am unable to disable display of the LocationFu coordinates in version r14463 (from the wowace.com/files/ site ). Uncheck "Show coordinates" in the FuBar drop-down list and nothing happens.

But the main map coordinate disabling works fine and so do the rest of the options.

I prefer using a coordinate mod that shows 1/10 coords (i.e. 40.2 vs. 40): NavigatorFu. I use the rest of LocationFu for recommended levels, though.

Its a major issue as having these LocationFu coords showing--when they aren't supposed to be--means there is less room available on FuBar for other mods.

Only 1 tiny request

Love this mod, Can you add the coords to the World Map on the bottom bar as well? then I can get rid of the extra mod I use just for that and free up some mem!

i.e. Cursor: 30,31 Location: 60,54

thanks!

World Map

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the plugin, it use to show info on the world map but now it doesnt.

Is this because of the 2.0.1 patch, a bug, or is it just me?

Yeah, it would really be great if there were an option to display the coords on the world map.

Having issue as well

It is not displaying the coords on the map for me either, and that is the most desirable aspect of the add on

The reason FuBar_LocationFu is no longer displaying coordinates and recommended zone info on the worldmap is because the feature has been removed from this addon and moved into the addon Cartographer (also by ckknight)

See the changelog for FuBar_LocationFu:
r18012 | ckknight | 2006-11-24 22:00:57 -0500 (Fri, 24 Nov 2006) | 1 line

FuBar_LocationFu - no longer messes with the world map. Use Cartographer if you want the same features.

Now Cartographer is a great addon so please try it out, however if you do not like it there is now a new addon called FuBar - RecZone. This addon is pretty much was FuBar_LocationFu was upto revision 18012. And is of course also well supported and maintained, just like the addons by ckknight it's developer is wmrojer...

It's a pity that ckknight decided to remove the most useful feature of LocationFu, namely to display the coordinates of the character and the cursor in the world map. Without this functionality, I think LocationFu has become pretty useless. Coordinator is certainly a powerful addon, but I don't want to use it. I hope that ckknight changes his mind.

When zoning, location is not displayed

This happens, for example, when going in & out of BGs.

Displaying the world map and hiding it fixes the problem.

In another minimap coords addon, I was able to fix the bug by inserting a call to SetMapToCurrentZone() just before the call to GetPlayerMapPosition().

Just tested this, and it works.

Totally agree.
It really would be great if you changed your mind.
Besides the coordinates, I'd like zones' level ranges to be showed again on the world map.
Those two things were the main reasons I used this plugin.
Thanks
