Naes-UI is a custom-compilation Interface with a stream-lined and optimized design built solely for the purpose of
maximizing player potential. All facets of the UI were hand-picked to increase productivity, reduce unnecessary eye travel,
while maintaining a small memory footprint. Don't be fooled though, productivity and beauty can be one and the same;
Naes-UI is living, breathing proof of that!

----------------------------------------------
Why Naes-ui?
----------------------------------------------
  • All classes and specs are fully supported at all times!
  • Pre-configured Grid set-ups for all healers
  • Threat plates setup to promote perfect tanking
  • Center-focused UI to maximize DPS and situational awareness
  • Afflicted3 Setup with all the new interrupts and other PvP-related cool-downs to give you an edge
  • Always up-to-date and bug free

----------------------------------------------
Installation
----------------------------------------------
Please note: Naes-UI was designed for a 1920x1080 resolution screen
and will look best when set at this resolution. Any 16:9
resolution (ex, 1600x900, 1366x768, 1280x720) should
work perfectly. With any other resolutions the UI will need to be modified.

I will be pushing out a second, 16:10 version of my UI soon. Stay tuned!

--->There's a read-me for a reason! I strongly recommend following it<---

Quick Install for advanced users:
  • back-up your WTF and Interface folders
  • Extract Naes-ui to your wow directory
  • Re-name necessary WTF folders
  • Restore YOUR settings by copy/pasting Config.wtf plus both sets of bindings-cache.wtf, config-cache.wtf, and macros-cache.txt (from your backup-WTF to the new WTF that you renamed)
  • Log into the game, Enable out-of-date addons, and enable class specific addons (see read-me!)
  • Enter world; Click the 'Yes' box to set Threat Plates as your Tidy Plates theme.
  • Move the UI-scale 2 notches to the left of default. VERY IMPORTANT STEP, must be done before anything else.
  • Type /reflux switch naes-ui
  • [BOOYA] Installation complete!

See the read-me for optional settings and for a detailed walk-through of the above steps.

You need to enable icehud in the addon control panel on the character selection screen. That's what i use to display combo points and energy.

You could move the tooltip i suppose. Type /tip, click the anchor button, drag the anchor, then lock it where you want.

Just wanted to say i fixed the rather annoying thing where the chat-editbox background wouldn't show up when you had another chat tab selected other than the first one. I'm surprised no one even mentioned it yet :P

One last thing: Tidyplates just switched to a new format and threatplates hasn't been updated yet to match. So in the meantime, either switch back to tidyplates 5 (will have no errors), or use the updated version with some minor errors (such as not being able to see hp text). My guess is threatplates will be updated in a day or two so i'd just stick with the newest tidyplates for now. Just ignore the errors.

My loot window always opens at one spot on screen. I need it to show up wherever my mouse icon is. How can I get this UI to do this? The default Blizzard interface option does not work. Which addon handles the loot box in this UI?

How can I change where the window pops up to roll on loot? It currently comes up in the top left corner so it's hardly noticeable. I'm also wondering how can I get this UI to show the mana and debuffs for party/raid members?

The loot rolls are handled by Xloot. I believe the command to show options is /xloot options or /xloot config. In options check show anchor and then make sure lock is unchecked and then you'll be able to drag the loot rolls wherever you like. Mana and debuffs for party/raid members are probably handled by Grid. I got rid of Grid and use Vudhu myself, so I won't be able to help you with how Grid works.

Hello and thanks for this amazing compilation! I'm loving it!.

Howerer, i'm having 1 problem that it's annoying me sooo much.
Blizzard haves a bug where if you talk with someone trough live ID and he haves a tilde (á é í ó ú) in his name, the name will be shown super large (see screenshot for clarification). So, when i write to this people i can only see the last word i'm writing.

Anyway... I think that simply using a smaller font will solve the problem but i can't find the place to config this.

Could you kindly point me in the right direction? thank you!

Hello, I'm having a similar problem as AceAce but there is no error involved. I followed the instructions perfectly and used a fresh Interface+WTF folder to be sure it wasnt any other addon that was causing it. When I get to the step with the reflux command, it reloads the ui but nothing changes. The default blizzard artbar is still there, Satrina Buff Frames is still on the right side of my screen vertically(instead of on top horizontally like in the screenshot) and every addon remains default. Perhaps its something to do with cataclysm?

If theres anything you can suggest to help me it would be appreciated. I'd really like to switch over to this UI.

Firstly, i'd like to apologize for the late replies. Been busy with the holidays, you know how that goes

It should be in the middle above the player cast bar. Type /grid, go to profiles, Which profile is it set to?

Sounds like you made a mistake somewhere. Please delete the WTF and Interface folders from your WoW directory, and then copy/paste the WTF and Interface folder again from the extracted ZIP. Be sure you rename the proper folders inside the WTF with your account name, realm name, and character name.

That seems quite annoying indeed. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a way to make the Edit-Box text smaller. Did you try using the arrow keys to move past the name (ie, the right arrow button)? If that doesn't work, i suggest asking for help at the chatter addon's web-page on curse: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...s/chatter.aspx

I believe the first part of your question was already answered -- but if you need more help, just ask. As for your second question:
type /pb
Go to groups
Select "party" under the current group drop box
Check the enable box.

You may have to change some settings here to fit your needs, i only spent 10 seconds setting up the pitbul party frames because i preferred grid. Since it's been requested now, I'll spend some time setting them up for my next update.

Type /xloot options
Go to Behavior Options
At the top of that there should be an option to "Snap Xloot to cursor"
Put a check next to that option by clicking on it.

Moving quest tracker

First off I love this compilation. I tried KittyUI but I like this one a little better

Quick question. I'm sure it's simple and I'm just not seeing it but how can I move the quest tracker? I'm wanting it a little higher on my screen but I can't seem to figure out how to move it up.

Thanks a bunch for your time!

Press the middle mouse button on the minimap (press the scroll wheel down).
Go to the Position tab.
Find "Quest and achievement tracker"
Check the "movable" box
Move it where you want.
Uncheck the movable box.

Hi there!
I'm new to wow and I'd like to use your UI but it's so overloaded with addons and stuff. I love your layout. It's so great!
Is there any way to just get it working for 1680x1050 with only the addons needed to let it look like this? So I would only need to drag the Bartender bars to the right place? Somethig like a minimalistic Version. Just like your preview screenshot looks like. I would appreciate it sooooo much!

All of the addons have a purpose and most of them use little to no resources so there's no down-side to having them all. The problem is, at this time, i don't have 1680x1050 version so you'd have to manually resize everything which might be difficult if you aren't familiar with customizing addons.
