ColdUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0.3
by: Coldkil [More]

As everyone has realized now, i have stopped working on the UI basically because i have stopped playing WoW altogether.

I feel sorry to not have written here before, there is a lot of people that has shown a lot of support on my work and i didn't thank you enough for that.

I had a lot of fun playing with the UI and following your feedback to improve my work.

I hope that something in the future (maybe another game) will let me do another work similar to this, as it's been by far my best WoW experience during my play time.

See you on next journey and projects.

All-in-one UI pack, working for every resolution, just try it and keep it if you like it! Mess with the code, but i don't support any edit.

Features:
- healer layout available: just set the option to true and /reload ui
- you can enable/disable pretty much any plugin
- extended focus frame available, with portrait and castbar
- datatext can be enabled/disabled too, and background panel can be toggled on/off
- change textures/fonts as you please
- you can setup your personal layout, and if you mess with thing, reset everything

SLASH COMMANDS:
/ch will make appear the help - everything is there
/align brings out a grid, very useful to move things around

Other options can be found in the relative addon config.lua file (or in game if it's provided).

AURORA:
i use an edited version of this addon to match all the Blizzard frames with the ones i designed. In game you should disable all options but the map reskin and the "replace normal game fonts" one.

ACTIONBARS:
just open config.lua in ColdBars addon, it's everything there. There are the same options as before plus some additional functionalities like vertical bars and the possibility to costantly hide pet/stance bar.
Button skin is embedded into the bars addon.
NOW PLUS MOUSEOVER!

About screenshots: they may show MSBT and an aura tracker addon, they aren't included in the package. Sorry, i still havent updated them, hope to do it asap.

CREDITS:
All credits go to respective addon authors.
Thanks to haste, for creating oUF.
Thanks to Caellian, since i've learned destroying you awesome layout.
Thanks to Tukz, i've taken some features from your incredible work.
Thanks to WoWInterface, MMO-Champion and WoWHead for their communities which have helped me a lot.
Bags are a stripped down and reduced to the bone version of Stuffing.
Cooldowns are a "same of above" version of OmniCC.
Runebar is a "same of above" edit if nibRunes.

HOW TO INSTALL:
- Make a backup of your Interface and WTF folders, then move/delete them from WoW directory.
- Unzip the archive.
- Put the folders in the ZIP archive into you Interface/Addons folder.
That's it!

- oUF_Coldkil

Are buffs and debuffs on the left side of the player frame now? Or only the debuffs?

dps layout: buffs on left side of the player, debuffs above. buffs right side of target, debuffs above.

healer layout: buffs on left side of player, debuffs below. buffs on top of target, debuffs on left side.

Yeah, some kind of copyright issues. Already checking and fixing anyway.

EDIT: download now available.

EDIT2: only for older versions. Give me some time, sorry for the delay.

Good news: i solved all the issues regarding the UI, i can proceed with my work.

EDIT: no bad news. Anyway i'm re-uploading last package.

EDIT: for everyone who have downloaded it before this edit: re-download. I included a wrong version of core.lua, and the player debuffs weren't correctly positioned for healer layout.

Now it should be good.

I have a little problem with debuffs on player frames.
the buffs are shown correctly, but the debuffs not. The debuffs are shown always at the top right corner (dps-ui)

Ok, i'll check. I'll make a question too: double buffs/debuffs frame (on player fram,e and corner) are annoying and should i get rid of them?

I think if the buff / debuffs on the player frame appears to be, then you do not need it in the top corner. A dual display is not really good. I prefer the setting of the buffs in the upper right corner and debuffs on the player frame.

That shouldn't be a problem, since they are already handled separately. A simple hide() command should do the trick.

Still checking the debuff thing. From code it seems all correct, don't have a WoW client available right now.

I found out that the problem must somehow lie at the handover of "pdebuffs" from the config.lua in the core.lua. I've changed the core.lua:

"layout.pdebuff = true" my change

if then layout.pdebuff
if not then layout.healer
.
.
.
Now it works.

lol. That's totally wanted, you need to set manually both buffs and debuffs to true to show them. It's not a problem.

Found it, it's a typo.

core.lua, line 796. It's written
Code:
if layout.pdebuff
it should be
Code:
if layout.pdebuffS
with no capital letter.

F*** me. It's a simple fix. Also, reading again the code, line 802 should be "LEFT" instead of "RIGHT". I've not tested them enough. Thanks for the info.
