THIS IS STILL A BETA VERSION.

I've tried several addons regarding this matter, most of us had the same ideas for Death Grip.

Since some appeared after I tried them, I grew tired of having all the addons using /yell or /say and not a single one had the possibility to turn it off.

So I started to make my own, while during that process, I started to think why only Death Grip? So here's the result of that idea.

You can type /DKSounds or /DKS for options, or you can open menu in-game, select Interface and Addons tab and you will see what you can enable / disable.

So you can have the messages (this checkbox it's for all messages), if you like it, or disable it.

Since I have more abilities you can enable / disable the sound for each one, so you have:

Death Grip: "Come Here!" and "Get Over Here!" - Scorpion MK (2 sounds - Random)
Rune Strike (proc): "Frostmourne Hungers." - Arthas WC3
Strangulate: "I find your lack of faith disturbing" - Darth Vader
Raise Dead: "For the Lich King!" - Arthas WC3
Blood Boil: "Your pain will be Legendary!" - Arthas WC3
Blood Strike: "You will know endless torment!" - Arthas WC3
Scourge / Frost / Heart Strike: "Glory to the Scourge!" - Arthas WC3
Obliterate: "NOW Frostmourne!" - Arthas WC3
Pestilence: "I will make sure, you suffer!" - Arthas WC3
Summon Gargoyle: "Summoning is complete!" - Acolyte WC3
Horn of Winter: "The Lich King has given me true power!" - Arthas WC3
Unholy Blight: "/emote *Frostmourne chants*" - Frostmourne Chants WC3
Death Knight Mounts: "I'm the One Horsemen of the Apocalypse!" - DK WC3
Cannibalize (for Undead DK): "Me eat dead people!" and "Me eat brains" - Ghoul WC3 (2 sounds - Random)
Army of the Dead: "The damned return!" - Necromancer WC3

I'm planning more additions to the future (Icy Touch, Plague Strike, etc)

QUICK NOTE: Delete always previous DK_Sounds folder from your "Addons" folder at this stage, since files could change, on this version (>=0.7b3) i changed the remain WAV to MP3, so you're going to have files that are no longer needed

I agree with you, it was like they shoot themselves on their own feet!

But, from what I've been playing so far, Cataclysm is not only new Guild system, for now "hard-modes" back almost like Vanilla, the story is great so far, the intros to new zones is awesome, Vashj'ir is awesome really different from what we used to, seeing Deathwing appearance on Mount Hyjal, the ride into the Maelstrom, i think all is great.

I thank you all for suggestions posted here. I think this addon needs a kind of "revamp", since skills changed somehow, also I never lost hope to put female sounds, since it feels kind of awkward to have male sounds on female chars.

Not promising anything, still kind of busy, but for TOC update only, but I will try to catch this and why not try to change it for more classes

Also i'm working on PvP addon that was very popular in Vanilla and during some TBC time, I'm almost finished, since I pretty much had to trash 90% of the code, still need to finish this one first

Just a thought. I believe you can get the Lich King's voice sounds via the WotLK Wiki, specifically here.
Yes, I have plans also to do that, as soon as I stabilized the code (events detection), I will add Lich King sounds for the same events, since most of the actual sounds used are from Evil Arthas before joined with Nerzhul.

So it will exist an option: with Lich King set sounds and another for Warcraft 3, sounds

Yes, I have the sounds files, still have to look after for the scripts to play the correspondent sounds.

EDIT: Although only things needed to add is:
# Talents/Procs:
Sudden Doom (Death Trance)
Hysteria (when you cast it on yourself)
Killing Machine
# Spells:
Army of the Dead
Raise Dead (this is there already)
Unholy Blight (this is there already)
# Other:
Merciless Combat (target less than 35% HP)
Player Death (do you think it's worth besides Shadow of Dead talent, that is on mine addon?)

No I didn't that's why I asked for feedback, so thanks mate

I know the reason of the problem (I had strip gold from others chars to buy the mount and test this, since I started the coding of the addon, didn't have much time to quest so my DK is still 70) the ID I put on the addon apparently it's a link to the object, it's not treated as spell it's link to physical school, the event don't even appear on Combat Log, not even the aura , so I hope I can make a detection on Mounted ID Aura 29582, hopefully it's only used for this mount.

BTW Acherus is considered a spell and appears as Shadow School.

It does indeed work, and looks great personally (I am very glad they used the new look they have now, versus the original flying bone turkey in the beta).

The sound for it however doesn't but then I think you probably know that already since you have the number for it currently set to the same as the Deathcharger with the real number in the comments section below.

Uhm, that's nice, now I'm curious since you hear music in-game, cause this routine is plays sounds on music segment part of the game, if you disable the music I'm pretty sure you will not hear also the sounds of the mod, I have to really test this and see a way to "counter" this...

Anyway did you test the new version, I've upload during this last night with the new sounds

BTW I also I'm playing with music normally only disable it during raids 'cos of vent

This would be awesome, I really want to hear the sounds, I love the horse one. But I'm usually listening to music when I play, so then I hear them even less. Thanks for the great work

I love this addon, however, I just have one complaint. The sound files for everything but "come here" could be a bit louder. If I turn the volume up anymore, the "come here" gets too loud. Is there any way to do that? i can barely hear the others.
