Aye - you should get together with Gello. Especially since you did not post this as a patch to his addon. (Which *is* hosted on this site, btw. )

Worth noting that both trinket slots in the beta Autobar finally work. Even if you don't use any other functionality in Autobar (which you'd be crazy to do given how nice it is now), you could recreate Trinketmenu's functionality. And guess what, it works on the PTR

Can confirm the gsub bug, but I only get the reflectalpha bug if all my mods are loaded, so it's likely related to cycircled. Didn't have time to confirm, but will test when I get home if time permits.

TrinketMenu (Fixed 2.4) is working great on the 2.4.1 live servers.

However, when logging into the current (2008-04-28 Monday) PTR for 2.4.2, Trinketmenu (Fixed 2.4) fails to function properly and the following error code occurs at character login:

Error: bad argument #1 to 'gsub' (string expected, got nil)
AddOn: TrinketMenu
File: TrinketMenu.lua
Line: 955
Count: 1
--------------------------------------------------
Error: attempt to call field 'ReflectAlpha' (a nil value)

This menu still doesn't work right. When I try to make the trinket menu icons smaller, it goes all screwy. One trinket icon goes up, the other down.

Naturally, I'd latch onto any type of fix for TrinketMenu and pester for new features - it would be awesome if you could do this

Padding option - have the two trinkets go closer or further
Theres also a slight aligning problem when I'm using the vertical setup. The bottom trinket is always slightly to the right

/sadface if you're just updating this

There are lots of mods that swap your riding gear automatically. The problem is if TrinketMenu is queuing trinkets it will immediately swap them back out and prevent the riding gear from staying in the slot. Unless baud mount disables trinketmenu and reenables it after dismounting, I doubt this combination will work any better than the zillion other mods that fail with trinketmenu.

If you don't queue trinkets, trinketmenu is a waste of memory space.

There needs to be an option to disable this for the BG's/Arena also.

Riding crop

The only thing I ever thought was missing from Trinket Menu was the ability to swap my riding crop into the slot I choose automatically when I mount. Many mods do this, but they conflict with Trinket Menu's queuing and more importantly, if you drop off your mount in combat, they do not queue the trinket the way this mod does so once you drop combat the failed swap never happens.

I'd love it if this mod could put the crop into my desired slot, and when I dismount, go back to queuing for that slot or queue the item previously in that slot before I mounted so that as soon as I'm free of combat it gets my crop out of there. There needs to be an option to disable this for the BG's/Arena also.

Aside from the fixes made in this version, this change would be the only other change that would interest me.

Thoughts?

Thank you for fixing the key bind issue, it was annoying to edit files when need.
