    Basically, it's fork of Funkydude's BasicChatMods with some tweaks by ALZA and some stolen code from Low Memory Chat by Jaliborc.

    Features:

    • completely transparent and stripped input box at the top of chat frame
    • all buttons removed, except the scroll back, which is shown only when chat is scrolled up
    • no need to hold alt for moving cursor in input box
    • removed hover for chat background
    • chat fading disabled
    • channel names are shortened ([Raid] becomes r, [Raid Leader] - R etc.)
    • button for copying chat text and ability to copy urls from chat
    • sticky channels
    • tell target (/tt) function
    • alt-click inviting from chat

    To-do in future:
    • fix bugs if any

    Please, note, this addon perfectly suites my personal needs and there won't be adding any features by request likely, only fixing bugs.

    It's working now, not sure what I did. But now when I alt + click, it also opens my editbox to whisper the person.

    And any chance of adding hyperlink for words like inv or invite?

    Opening whisper box will be fixed in minutes (or at least when the upload will be approved).
    About adding link: i'll think about it, but unlikely.

    You have to select a target and type /tt [You message], then press enter, that is how it works.

    No, it doesn't work. For example if the target name is Bob, when you target Bob and /tt hello, you will get an error saying No player named 'Bob-' is currently playing. Not sure why it adds an hyphen after the name.

    Anyway, i'm going to rewrite this function to make it more obvious.

    Sorry to keep reporting bugs, I also find that you can't alt invite on name in the yellow text like "[Bob] has come online."

    It sends you to whisper like the previous bug I reported.

    For example, after I shift click on a person name like below:

    and then alt click on the name, it goes to a whisper instead of inviting, do you see what I mean?
