by: syrupk [More]

*Pet and Possess Bar issues fixed, I hope

*Dominos has been replaced by macaroon. please visit Maul's Macaroon page here on wowi for instructions.
*2 new bars added under tot frame
*new layout

Welcome to MetzRemix 1680x1050! (This compilation is going to get a new name soon, feel free to make suggestions).

This is a little remix of MetzUI that I found at www.omgphatloots.org. Compilation is updated for Wotlk, and includes many customized blp files for many aspects of the interface, more to be added very soon.

Now also includes Ishtara's shared media folder. This eventually will be turned into a mymedia of my own when time permits.

Addons included:
_Cursor - custom cursor trails
Align
Azcastbar
Baudbag(yay fan update!)
Blipstick - custom minimap blips
Buffalo - buff display
Button Facade and many skins (I removed a few that aren't being used)
Classtimer - dotimer, not set up but included
Cooldownbuttons - some how I forgot a cooldown, buff, and dot display last time

DetachedMiniButtons - put those stinky buttons wherever you want!
Dominos - actionbars
eepanels2
Examiner - inspect mod
ItemRack
LynSettings
nchat
nclock
Neonchat - changes editbox border to color of channel you are typing in
oglow(I still need to remove this I believe baudbag does this automagically)
omen
omnicc
oRa2
Pitbull(metalayout.lua is custom and so is border.tga in aura folder)
sct and sct cooldowns, sctd
sellfish and vendorbait(highlights most valuable quest item and gives price)
shared media(this is an amazing folder full of wonderful things)
simpleMinimap - custom, by Delsim
tekability 0 durability on character frame
tekerr - I'm having problems with all error catching mods right now
tekJunkSeller - sells gray stuffs
teknicolor - name color
tiptop - best tooltip mod ever (imo)
xloot and xlootgroup

Directions for install:
1) Backup your interface, fonts, and wtf folders.
2)Unzip MetzRemix into your world of warcraft folder
3)Navigate into the WTF folder and change your acc, realm, and char names to your information.

10-19-08
-new button facade skins
-some bar layout changes
-additions: classtimer, buffalo, and cooldown buttons
-removed many button facade skins and unused mods
-added ishtara's shared media folder

Wonderful UI. I really love the look.

I have a serious issue when using it though(probably unique to me, but whatever). WoW Crashes whenever I enter an instance while using your UI. I dunno what it is, but I can't be using this UI if this problem persists. Any help would be nice, thanks.

Lynsettings just does a few minor interface things that I'm sure you won't really miss. I forgot this UI had the old version of lynsettings. I remember the calendar error now. Glad you fixed it.

As for the set focus.. well.. one thing I love in your UI is that.. alot of it is in the menu. I shall wait for ya

If I have some time tonight I will make the update. Macaroon is just too confusing for some people and I'm not that fond of dominos. It will get done either tonight or tomorrow Glad you are enjoying.

Edit: I didn't notice the inclusion of dmbs that was moving the buttons off of the map. I'm assuming that these just aren't set up anywhere by default so I should just put them where I'd like, right? I'm trying to make sure that nothing is particularly out of place since I'm not at the default resolution. I'm still not entire sure how changing that affects item placement all the time.

Also, would you recommend keeping the individual addons up to date using an automatic updater program in between releases or have custom edits been made to the addons?

Thanks again.
DBMS should load my settings, but you can put them wherever you want. You should be able to update the addons just fine without worrying about custom settings. I don't think I changed anything in that UI. Good luck, glad you are enjoying.

Would it be possible to request the support of this resolution or to ask for some guidance on how I might be able to make things a little more workable for my resolution without completely losing some of the UI?
The resolution of Metz is 1680x1050 widescreen. Unfortunately I won't be recreating this for any other resolution. If things are very small, you probably need to use a higher UI scale and then move the panels back into place. If you need help with that, please let me know.
