    Tired to see gold farmer's advertising everyday? BLOCK THEM!

    I designed this because I received ad more than 3 times in one hour, and those gold farmer used different player name every time. Ignore list will never be enough.

    The principle is checking keywords in whisper string. if any keyword matched, WhisperBlocker will block the message.

    The new feature "level check" can cause your whisper delay up to 5 seconds on receiving because it can only check remote user by /who command and WoW server has 5 seconds timer on each requests. If you are having hard time on receiving messages, please turn it off (Default is off because I am not recommending this feature. If you don't care about waiting for a little time, you can let it on.) If you don't need level check feature, you can just download 1.0a version.

    use command /whisperblocker or /wb to bring up option window.

    change log

    v1.1f - Fixed "arg11" argument error in ChatFrame.lua 2580.

    v1.1e - Supporting wow 2.1.0. Fixed some minor bugs.

    v1.1d - Improve query system, so message will not fall behind. Add short slash command /wb for your convenience.

    v1.1c - If you were using level check, please update to version (previous versions cause lag). It was really bad idea that use timer to check query. Now removed query from timer and process it right after receive WHO from server. Fixed WHO window pops up after you joined a raid if you have deadly boss mods installed. Fixed some problems with regular usage of WHO.

    v1.1b - now whisperblocker will not block player who is in the same guild or friend list. Fix a bug that regular usage of WHO command will not work.

    v1.1 - Add check by word. Add level check, however, default is off and I am not recommanding you to use it. Please read description about it from where you downloaded my addon.

    1.0a - fix a bug that new keywords are not working right after closing option window.

    1.0 - first released.

    Spam Reporting?
    I have another request. Any way to be able to add the ability to be able to report the people that this addon blocks? I can right click on their name but for some reason it doesnt add the report spam option. Thanks

    I do have that first checkbox marked, for "Enagle keywork checking". As for other tools, SpamMeNot is installed but I had disabled it. I tried uninstalling it, too, and no improvement. No other spam or whisper blocking tools.

    Do I need "check only keywords" enabled?

    I have tested with several people and keyword checking is working properly.
    Did you check on the "Enable keywork checking?" (I know I spell wrong on keyword, will fix in next version) or were you using any other whisper filter or spam filter addon with whisperblocker?

    I installed it correctly, but WB doesn't block the whispers...?
    I downloaded and installed the latest version of WhisperBlocker, v1.1d. It's installed correctly, because I can type /wb and it displays the setup window.

    However, no whispers are blocked, though the keywords match. I even added more keywords, based on the whispers I receive, but no luck. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?

    I have the level setting off, by the way.

    To my amazement I too have received questions from people gold and level spamming me on why I am automatically blocking them. I just cannot believe their arrogance.

    My simple response to them is "Die scum".

    They were changing some letters to make the word looked like captial such as zero 0 (0ffer).
    BTW, there is no case sensitive, but I am checking codes if there is a bug causing this.

    I am not getting spams in these days, I believe farmers noticed this addon.

    Ok this addon has been working great for me the past couple of days. But yesterday I had a few pm's get through so I was wondering if this was case sensitive? I noticed that I am currently blocking the word gold but then noticed on the pms that got through had Gold w/ the first letter capital. Does this make a difference? Thanks.

    Right now it blocks all messages that meet keywords, so it will block your friend and guildy. However, I have thought about it and I will make it not blocks your guild / friend message. Please look forward.

    This is the best gold spam crap i have found. This addon does everything i wanted, even /w the seller ..

    Only thing that i would say to make it better is to block lvl 1. but im glad you made this.

    I haven't downloaded this yet but I seriosly want to given the horrible bad pms I get all day long. But my question is if my friend or guild member pms me something about gold or something I put in the block list does it let them through? If not I think that would be a great implement ..
