Gun Silencer/Suppressor

There are a few Gun Silencer mods that replace Blizzard's ear deafening default gun sounds, and most of the ones I have found weren't very high quality. So I decided to make my own, with HI-DEF silencer recordings.

Included in this mod is the following:

- 1 Silenced Gun Shot (M4A1 Carbine)

- 3 Unique Reload Sounds

Installation is simple; Extract the .ZIP and copy the extracted files into your World of Warcraft's "DATA" Folder. For example;

\World of Warcraft\Data\

This mod is client side only, and DOES NOT alter any of Blizzard's sound files. It simply overrides the default sounds and plays the mod's sound files instead.

This mod works for guns only, and can be used for other classes as well, as long as you are able to use a gun.

This is working for me, as well.

First time I tried installing it, I put it in the /Applications/World of Warcraft/Data directory. [as per the directions on the mod's main page]

But, moving the zip file to /Applications/World of Warcraft and unzipping the file worked for me.

I like being able to turn-up the sound again.

When you AEing mobs around you, its kinda hard to hear the gun shot over the mobs noise...dunno if you get the AE off or not unless you watch for the timer. Just some thoughts, thanks for this though, makes it ALOT easier to stand a gun =)

I personally thought it was just way to loud, even if goblin engineering designed it that way. Oh... and now I went and got my hunter trained in using guns because of this lovely sound file.

Make sure you extract it inside the "Data" folder, not the "interface/addons" folder. It's a sound file, not an actual addon.
