LightHeaded is a very simple addon that displays quest information and comments from http://www.wowhead.com in game, eliminating the need to Alt-Tab when you get stuck on quest. This addon was inspired by qcomments and wowhead_quests, which both serve a similar purpose. Data is only loaded when you first request it, so you can be sure you're not using more memory than you need to.

I HIGHLY suggest using this addon with TomTom, another one of my addons (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...32-TomTom.html ). This allows you to simply click any coordinate in LightHeaded to add it to your map as a waypoint.

The following slash commands are valid:

/lh attach - Attaches the frame to the quest log
/lh detach - Detaches the frame, allows you to resize and move it
/lh sound - Toggles the open/close sound
/lh page - Toggles showing all comments on one page, or with multiple pages
/lh bgalpha <0.0-1.0> - Changes the alpha of the LH window background textures, so you can see the world.
/lh debug - Enables or disabled debug messages when loading quest databases
/lh config - Opens the LightHeaded configuration window
/lh autodetails - Toggle automatic opening of the Lightheaded window when clicking a quest in the objective tracker

LightHeaded now includes the English descriptions and introductory text for most of the quests in the game. This is disabled by default, but can be enabled for those players that are not playing in their native locale.

LightHeaded supports sending coordinates to TomTom, MapNotes, Cartographer2 and Cartographer3.

IMPORTANT: Addon authors that wish to use this API and data should
include the wowhead logo in the frame that displays this information.
They are kind enough to let me continue parsing their database, and we
owe them at least that much. Thank you.

I just found a way to get Lightheaded to work without even seeing the map! Yes!

Anyway, instead of just clicking on the quest on the right side of the screen (which just pulls up the map with the quest), right-click on the quest title instead (on the right side of the screen) and it will give you options, click the option "Open Quest Details" and you will get the normal Lightheaded deal.

I hope I made it clear, I'm not the best when it comes to explaining computer stuff, hope I helped some of you

It won’t work for me since the 7.2 patch… when I click on a quest on the right side of my screen, it just opens up the map and you see the “quest info” that WOW gives you, nothing from Wowhead. I wondered if I have a setting that got messed up with the new patch. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanx... and I'm sorry to be a bother, I understand you are busy

When you are tracking quests and you click the quest title the quick quest log opens and lightheaded opens with, but before if I wanted to change what the minimap was pointing me towards I could press the circled number next to the quest title and the pointer on minimap would point me the way I need to go, now when I pressed the circled number lightheaded also pops up. Was this implemented on purpose or do I have an issue here. If I'm honest it is a bit annoying.

Agreed! Thank you enormously. Considering what a terrible job Blizzard has done with describing some of the quests, I couldn't do without Wowhead's comment sections. Thanks again.

Not sure if it's just me, but I had to stop using LightHeaded due to how much it slowed down (often causing pauses) the game. Anyone else experience this? Granted I use a lot of addons, but removing just this one cleared up all the pauses I was experiencing - and not just after loading/zoning. Great addon, just wonder if it could be better optimized somehow.

There's nothing to optimize, it doesn't do anything periodic and only has a cost when you're loading data for the first time or looking at it. If you're seeing something else that would be a bug and would need to be reported as so, with clear information about how to reproduce the issue.

Yes, i know there are issues with the quest log, but the addon still 'works' right now and I don't have time in my life at the moment to work on enhancement or to try and reconcile it with other addons. Perhaps in the future.
