This contains documentation which describes the internal workings of the mod. How it is works and some of the specifics. I don't describe every routine, just the key ones.
- The first part are useful links to understanding XUB, XML, LUA etc.
- The next three parts talk about the key parts to XUB; (1) Configuration (2) Button Creation (3) Button Refreshing.
- I talk about the button syntax.
- I talk about lag, with a few warnings and commentary about fixing stuff; or leaving it alone.
- I embedded two other posts from WOWInterface.com that a developer will find useful.
- Finally, I posted the entire opening remarks for the mod to make it easier to have everything in a single document.
I didn't describe every routine, but tried to highlight the key points about how XUB was designed and how it works. This should give insight as you read through the document and look at the code. IMPORANT: You need to look at the code in WOW UI Designer or find a program that can align the tab characters properly. WOW UI Designer does it, but looking at it in notepad is a little frustrating. Sometimes TAB characters are included other times only spaces. In Notepad there is a mixture of both making the code hard to read.
