MissCrissi's UI Revised

Version: 3.3

MissCrissi's UI Revised
Version 3.3

Note: This add on is intended for a resolution of 1440x900 but can be tweaked to work with other widescreen resolutions.

This is my newly revised user interface that focuses on centralizing much of the elements of a raid for ease of use. Please note that the majority of this UI is aimed at healing classes. Slight twinking might be required for other roles.
Setup

  • Download and extract the zip file
  • Back-up your Interface, WTF, and Fonts folders located in the World of Warcraft directory
  • Move the Interface, WTF, and Fonts folders from MissCrissi's UI and into your World of Warcraft folder
  • Within the WTF folder, rename the ACCOUNTNAME, Server, and CharacterName folders to match your info
  • Once World of Warcraft is loaded, make sure all add-ons and "Load Out of Date Addons" is selected. Enter WoW
  • Using the Add-On Manager, go through each add-on and change the Profile to MissCrissi [UI] or, if that is not an option, always choose a profile named Melek
  • Depending on your resolution, you may need to tweak certain aspects of this UI. I have included the Align add on to help you do this. Simply type '/align' into the textbox and a grid will appear to aid you
  • If your chat windows have not been automatically moved, please do so by following the screen shot included.

I love this UI. I just have one problem with it right now. In the middle of my screen are two columns. The left one is mail and performance, the right is friends, guild, and gold. From your screenshot, they look like they're supposed to be around the map. I changed the profiles but they have not moved.

At log-in, just disregard the MissCrissi option and enter your appropriate info into Username and Password

Once in Wow, the best thing to do is click 'Esc' to bring up the menu, click Interface, then click the Add-Ons tab. Go through each Addon and find the Profile option. Here you can select a Profile to use with the addon. Try to use MissCrissi. If that is not an option, then choose one that says Melek-Medivh.

That should help.

I know there are a couple of errors and possibly issue with Skada working immediately upon loading the UI up and setting everything. If you can pinpoint any issues, please let me know so I can fix them.

Oh, and anyone have some tips on lowering the size of the file?

First Comment is Mine!

Actually, I'm downloading your interface right now. I'll give it a test run and see how things work. I'm running at a 1440x900 resolution, and kind of hard for me to tweak interfaces to fit it, and not much variety is out there.

I'll respond back with more information as I test it. =D
