BlkUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.3B
by: Blacksad [More]

RESOLUTION: 1920X1080

A sleek looking, minimalist, all purpose Rogue UI.

Everything is set to track buffs/debuffs/procs/CD times in PvE and should require next to no setup.

Although this is set up to be Rogue specific, you can simply use any character class.

For PvP target defensive cooldowns are tracked via Weakauras, and personal CC abilities via icons above nameplates.

Let me know if you have any questions.

(Ctrl click Skada button to reset data)

Directions:

The person who downloads this has to unpack everything using an application which can unzip folders (Winzip, etc.), and then put all the folders in his / her World of Warcraft folder.

Copy your current WTF/Interface folders to your desktop to back them up before installing.

You then place the downloaded WTF/Interface folders into your Wow directory in their place.

When you download this, edit the folders to rename them from the generic "Account Name", "Server", "Character" to your actual accountname - the same goes for the server- and characternames. Do this first, before you even load up the game. Otherwise, the settings for everything will not take, and you may have to do it over to get everything working properly.

Upon entering game, make sure all addons are enabled! Make sure "Load out of date Addons" is checked!!!

Once loaded with all addons enabled, you will get a pop-up asking if you want to install BlkUI. Choose "Yes", and you should be pretty much good to go.

If any profiles for specific addons have issue loading, you may choose the Blk_UI profile for said addon.

You can then copy your bindings-cache.wtf and macros-cache.txt in from your backed up desktop folders, and keep your previous macros/keybindings.

Don't update Sharedmedia or Sharedmedia: Additional Fonts, as they it will overwrite the in-game font settings.

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Addons Included:

Aurora, Bagnon, Bartender, Gnosis, Raven, Fonter, VuhDo, HideBossFrame, HideRaidFrame, Stuf Unit Frames, Reflux, SharedMedia, WeakAuras, Phanxchat, SexyMap, Skada, KgPanels, Tidyplates, Tiptac, DBM, HideBlizzardRaidFrame, Rogue Spam Reborn.
__________________________________________________________________________________________

Changed loader to work correctly. (Thanks to Real of RealUI!)

Added in the option to toggle most of the UI on/off at will.

Redid boss frames to look better and have a castbar.

Lots of odds and ends.

Re: Re: Buffs and Chat frame help

Well I don't want to disable them, they're supposed to be poisons and professions from the screenshot in the gallery. my issue is that they don't work, they just make a noise and nothing happens

By the chat frame highlighted in RED I don't know what addon that is or what it does. when I click it, it makes a noise and doesn't do anything and would like to know what it is and how to fix it.
For my buffs highlighted in BLUE I'm having an issue showing my static buffs (Tabard, shirt, mount, valor of the ancients etc.) I've been playing around with the addon and cannot figure out how to get the addon to show any buffs other then combat buffs (poisons food buff and stuff like kings or mark. and help would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

Cheers mate, I had an idea Stuf would be Yellow, but you confirmed it and now I've configured it to my liking.
(for some reason options for certain addons are disabled by default and I have to load them manually on the addons tab ingame. Yet some options unload once I reload UI... weird)

I've got everything sorted out, RED= Shadowed UI and GREEN= SLDATATEXT (annoying POS for an addon).
Now for the life of me, I can't figure out what PINK is. It's a box laying down. When I was exploring the addons' configs, I realized if I turned on Blizz default bar artwork, the spacing inside Blizz's artwork is exactly the same as that annoying little box. Any ideas?

GREEN: This is annoying smacked down in the middle of the screen. If I could just remove this would even be better. Anyone knows what addon this is?
RED: What's the addon of these frames? Can't seem to find anything that will move/remove them.
YELLOW: I love the style of these bars, but I'd like to be able to pull them down a little.
PINK: What is this random bar? How do I remove it?
BLUE: Love it. But I wanted to move it to the right of the chatbox rather than the left side of the chatbox, mainly because the dropdown menu that shows when you click it does not overlay the chatbox (so it appears under the chatbox)

Cheers

^ That's how it came out.
Make sure when you load up that all addons are enabled, and "load out of date addons" is checked. Blizz did a mini-patch which updated the Terms of service, so most addons won't load if you don't check that box.

You'd have to choose different artwork for them by going to each thing in Weakauras and changing it.

If you are talking about the timeline its raven, and if not I suspect you are talking about the 'offensive abilities' (iirc) in weakauras.

Yes you do. It also overwrites some files (stuf for example) in the global dir. Easiest wáy to install is to just do it for all chars you´ll be using it on and -then- configure everything.

I'm wondering...even though I have several characters on different servers,I'm just putting in the name of my "main" Character and the "Main" server im on.

maybe I havta actually put in the names of "all " of the characters and "all " the servers...

going to give this a try, in hopes to alleviate the issues I'm having.
