Threat Plates (TP for short) is a addon for customizing your nameplates. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

Features:

SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
Ace3 profiling.
Low memory footprint.
Threat system management.
Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
Customizable widgets.
Customizable totem nameplates.
Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

Commands:

/tptp - Displays options.
/tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
/tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
/tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
/tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
/tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

Additional Information:

A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. After trying everything I saw ( i didn't look too deep) I give up. Help me obi wan you're the only one who can save me! Oh its only threat plates that won't work, all other themes do. The simple thing to do first is double check that you have your Tidy Plates themes set to Threat Plates.

sure, i did set the correct theme. anyway i found the problem. i had to disable customized colors for the hp bars in the threat plates options before the color by threat thing works.

This is a tidy plates issue. There is a conflict between the two add-ons. I'd urge you to submit a ticket on VialCooldowns to help get that authors attention.

There is nothing I can do about that conflict.

I have two screenshots attached to demonstrate. In this screenshot, I am not in combat with either boar. In this screenshot, I am in combat with the boar directly in front of my warrior, while the boar in the background is still wandering, not in combat. When I adjust settings in combat, I can observe changes. Turning off the threat system returns the non-combat boar's nameplate to normal. Turning off the coloring option makes the nameplate yellow again, and turning off the scale option returns it to normal, non-combat size. I have verified that the option for "Ignore non-combat threat" is selected, and have toggled it to observe the difference (all it does is add the red texture of having low threat). Your limit has been increased on custom nameplates. Unfortunately there's no easy shortcut to determining if a totem is npc or player owned.

Unfortunately mirror images are one of those that is not easily tracked unless you build a system to.

By disabling the guardian nameplates within the addon it's disabling the nameplates for all guardians. You can explicitly name custom nameplates as I've done in the "Custom Nameplates" tab and disable the nameplates for whichever ones you'd like and simply have psyfiend be shown.

Other than that there's no way to tell if something is a guardian immediately.
