Advanced Trade Skill Window  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 0.8.0
by: Slarti [More]

ATSW is a complete replacement for Blizzards tradeskill window with more overview and special functions.

This replacement (works for all tradeskills, including enchanting!) provides you with:

- a better overview
The ATSW is bigger than the standard window, resulting in a much better overview over the thousands of items you can produce. Additionally, it lets you sort your recipes either by groups (as in the standard window), alphabetically or by difficulty. Alternatively, ATSW even lets you create your own groups and sort the recipes the way you like!
ATSW also has a filter function: enter something into the filter line and ATSW hides all recipes that don't contain the text you entered. But this filter function can do more: it's a powerful search function that can filter for minimum/maximum level requirements, producable item counts, item rarity (color) and reagents necessary. Check out the readme for details on using this function!

- more comfort
The ATSW has a production queue: you can queue several different items and have them all produced automatically by just clicking one button.
The ATSW is able to consider items you have to produce in order to use them as reagents in the production of other items. So: if you need item A to produce item B, you don't have to manually produce first item A, then item B. The ATSW does that for you: you just tell it to produce item B and it automatically queues the production of item A and - afterwards - item B. If you are missing some reagents to produce both items you get a message telling you exactly which reagents you need.
ATSW helps you telling your friends what reagents you need for a specific item: just click on a recipe with your shift-key pressed and the chat line opened and the reagent info will be added to the chat line.
ATSW shows you what reagents you need to process the whole production queue. It even tells you how many of each reagent you have in your bank, on alternative characters on the same server (in this case, it can even tell you on which characters) and which reagents are buyable from merchants. In case of buyable reagents ATSW can automatically buy all missing and available items from a merchant when you are speaking to him.

ATSW explicitly supports ArmorCraft, LS3D craft info and Fizzwidgets ReagentCost. Other addons that change the original tradeskill window will probably not work with ATSW.

v0.8.0:
- changed: ATSW updated for patch 4.0

I can also confirm that the Enchanting ATSW is not how it used to be, though it still functions correctly (for the most part) it is a bit annoying.

Likewise I can not scroll in the Category Editor.

Also, when creating glyphs for inscription; multiple times the create button will not function. I have to close the ATSW, open up the WoW interface by shift-clicking my profession, then close and re-open the ATSW before I can resume crafting.

I've noticed since the patch that it is treating enchants like every other tradeskill. The simple "Enchant" button at the bottom of the right-hand pane is gone, and has been replaced by the crafting style right-hand pane. When you're crafting (cooking, eng, etc) and you select an item to make, it puts it in the queue window at the bottom right, and when done making that item, it clears the queue. Since the patch, it's treating enchanting the same way. I select Enchant Weapon - Major Spellpower, and hit create, and it puts in the queue window, which wasn't there for enchanting pre-patch.

It's still usable, because I still get the glowy hand, but the enchant I selected stays in queue following the action, and has to be manually cleared from the queue before I can do another enchant.

Inscription errors.

Im getting a few errors:

Particularly with The Rebirth and Unbridled Rebirth glyphs.

First off: ATSW lists them plainly both as "Glyph of Rebirth"

Then if I want to make Unbridled Rebirth, its queeing both of them

I can link the [Incription Glyph of Rebirth] if I try to link Unbridled then it posts it twice @_@! Tho the second is posting as that.... but giving ppl Unbridled Rebirth's tool tip.

How can I get this to work?

Basically anytime I try to even link an ink or glyph itself, I get these errors.

I'm getting this pop-up whenever I try to set a focus target with this mod enabled:

and despite what it says, it isn't a MoveAnything issue. when I disable ATSW, then focus targeting works flawlessly.

I love this so much more then skillet. Skillet's lay out is too harsh for me and I love to be able to make my own categories. (ei I'm a tailor so I have them divided by cloth type). Some things that would make it even better is:

1. The text level like the +++ for a red skill ++ for yellow + for green
2. Option to show quality Epic, Common etc
3. Notes -- I figure I can add my sale value because I always forget stuff like that, or any other such note.
4. Is there anyway to do different sorting options, like A by cloth and B by sale value.
5. Finally, is there any way to add a graphic or category option that sorts them between Drop/Vendor/Trainer. I find that I sell them at a higher price if its less common bc it's a drop vs the fact that it's a blue item bought from a vendor.

I know with all this 3.0.2 stuff you guys are going to be hopping but it's just something to think about.

Add "this, " in front of the number on that line.

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong...

If I queue a bunch of things, ATSW stops after each batch, and I have to hit "Process Queue" again.

Is that intentional? Is it an option?

(This was with the pre-WotLK version, obviously I can't log in now...)
