Improved Blizzard UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.8.1
by: kaytotes [More]

Known issues can be tracked / submitted HERE.

Improved Blizzard UI is an attempt to improve the default Blizzard interface. This has been customized to how I personally like my UI set up. There is some very basic configuration in game but things like positioning and scale of items still needs modifying directly in the LUA.

Only 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 are supported / tested out of the box so some other resolutions may need tweaks.

Localized for enGB / enUS / deDE (ben2k1690) / ruRU (A few strings missing). See end of page for information if you would like to help localise.

Thanks for your great addon so far and keep it up
I play at 1440p too so i'm not sure if them being "huge" for you is a bug or the intended size. The only way to modify the scale would be via editing the LUA.
Yeah, I'm actually having the same issue as them. I'm on 1440p and it is HUGE, and scaling it to "low" actually makes it bigger! o_O

I used: /run UIParent:SetScale(.5) to shrink it some - however, this is not permanent. A refresh of the UI for any reason sends it back to the default size.

This is not a package of addons but is instead custom code. I do not support or go out of my way to support compatibility issues with other addons.

The focus frame has an intended scale and position but was bugged until today. I've updated this with 1.7.2, you will still not be able to move it however.

focus frame positioning issue

Noticed that the focus frame has some wonky behaviour.

1. initially the focus frame floats over the chat and player frame, with improved blizzard ui styling (class colored name bar)
2. changing the focus frame to "larger" jumps the focus frame down over the chat. focus frame loses class colored name bar.
3. changing the focus frame back to the smaller frame shrinks it smaller than in step one, and still no class colored name bar. Still floating over the chat.

In all scenarios, the focus frame is not movable just like the player and target frame. Makes sense to not have them movable, since they're already in a great position, but the focus frame position should either be movable or in a better spot by default.

screenshots

PS. love the ui

Tweaking with this should help. The 1.1 is the current scale.
