GnomeSequencer-Enhanced allows you create a sequence of macros to be executed at the push of a button.

Like a /castsequence macro, it cycles through a series of commands when the button is pushed. However, unlike castsequence, it uses macro text for the commands instead of spells, and it advances every time the button is pushed instead of stopping when it can't cast something. This means if a spell is on cooldown and you push the button it will continue to the next item in the list with each press until it reaches the end and starts over. It comes with an editor and everything you need to get started.

Question

Hello!,

I'm reaaaally new to this, just started using it today, and was wondereing if there's a way to set priority to a skill.. ie. I want to cast Bloodthirst always that I press the macro button, if that's not available or can't be casted, then move to the second skill in the macro, and like that. Instead of simply rotating.

Can this be done? how?

I would check your key bindings. A common one is CTRL is default bound to Pet Action bar.

Modifiers working?

Hi - overall my macros are working great - but modifiers are not firing for some reason.

Perhaps this is due to me holding the macro key down and then tapping and/or holding "alt" for example, but before I dig deeper I would just like to know if modifiers like ALT are working for everyone.

They are there - When you load in the first time there is a popup asking if you want to load the Sample Macros. If you choose yes they will load. After that if you go to Options - Plugins you can choose to reload them by hitting the sample button.

They are also extremely out of date and current versions (7.1.5) are on the http://www.wowlazymacros.com site. These were written in the Beta prior to 7.0 and are included as samples to get you started. The prefix is also SAM_

As to the Why - Here are all the discussions about why anything happened:
When I hit that sample button, it freezes the whole of my pc and I have to task manager to log off because nothing will click after.

It depends a LOT on the macro. For 1.5 macros you need to ensure that you change the Radio button to "GS/GSE1 Legacy" and they have to have a valid specID. Without that they go into Global Macros. Until the next patch you will then need to go to Options - SHow All Macros - close and reopen /gs - Find the Macro - Edit it - change specialisation - save it - go back to options - untick show all macros and reopen /gs.

After the patch the option is show Global Macros and Create button for Global Macros.

They are there - When you load in the first time there is a popup asking if you want to load the Sample Macros. If you choose yes they will load. After that if you go to Options - Plugins you can choose to reload them by hitting the sample button.

They are also extremely out of date and current versions (7.1.5) are on the http://www.wowlazymacros.com site. These were written in the Beta prior to 7.0 and are included as samples to get you started. The prefix is also SAM_

Unhappy Problems with 2.0

Why did you remove all the old sequences there was nothing wrong with them, is there a way to put them back? The only thing that I wanted was for it to work with the 7.1.5 patch, now you changed the sequences again ....

Greetings, i am completely new to GS...just installed GS 2.0 to ambitiously create some nice macros...but they are not saved anyways -.-
it is said that its saved, but i cant find them?! same with importing sequences from GSE 1.5...
so what is the hint i am missing? any clues?

Need to change the icon via the /macro interface.
Create Icon in /GSE creates the default ? Icon.

Anytime I reload the UI or restart the game, I have to re-create the icon for my macro made with the in-game editor.
Is it supposed to work this way or there's an option to save the macro somewhere like an xml file same as the old version?

EDIT:

found the issue, delete orphaned macro was selected -.-

You will need to delete GS-Core, GS-SequenceEditor and GS-DraikMacros then extract this.

Everyone I know had the same issue. We used the most recent Pre-Release of GSE2 and it fixed it for us.
